I was having a one way audio issue when I put my PBX behind a firewall (Netgear 336g) because it was not SIP friendly, and was having NAT traversal issues. The latest firmware now has SIP ALG support. In theory, will this fix it?

Im using the latest version of the pbx on mac osx 10.5.7.

Was this fixed yet? I'd like to have the outgoing caller ID of the PBX (not my cellphone) when using the calling card feature on the PBX.

I have a couple people here who work remotely and have extensions on the PBX. Most of the time, they do NOT have phones registered, so the call is never really "forked", rather just transfered to their cell phone. Is there a way to accomplish this without having extensions registered so it will terminate back to their work voicemail on the PBX?

I notice that when I have my phone connected directly to the gateway
and assign it a public ID address, I don't get audio dropouts on the
phone. When I connect it through my router, I have problems with
audio dropping out. I would leave it on the gateway, but the dialing
script im using, has issues if the phone uses authentication since it
uses URL to dial the phone.
Any ideas as to what I should do?

When scheduling a phone conference, the email is sent to participants with the correct calendar event, ut the subject of the email is off. Here's what it's doing. Any ideas? I'd really like to say the conference name and time.

I use the Eye Beam Counterpath soft phone with PBXNSIP version 3.0.1.3023. I'd like the ability to have the soft phone pull the domain address book from the PBX. I've read some documentation from the soft phone and it says that is supports something like this, but VOIP is not my strong suit, so here I am. I have copied the part of the manual below from the soft phone. Thanks in advance for the help.

Using Remote Storage
A contacts list can be stored remotely for retrieval using XCap or WebDAV. The contacts list must be formatted
for the chosen protocol. Specify the remote location on the Accounts Storage tab; see “Account Properties –
Storage” on page 51.
Each time eyeBeam is started, the contacts list is retrieved from the remote storage. Each time a contact is added
to the contacts list, it is immediately copied to remote storage.

Account Properties – Storage
These settings let you set up a storage system for your contact list: either a local one or a remote one (WebDAV
or XCAP).
The tab only appears for the current default account: see below for an explanation.
How Storage Works for a Single Account
If you have only one account, all three storage methods are supported and easily managed.
How Storage Works for Multiple Accounts
If you have multiple accounts, the local storage method is supported and easily managed.
However, if you are thinking of setting up remote storage, keep the following in mind: When you add a contact
(either manually or through a new contact notification), the contact is stored at the remote storage location for
the current default account. Keep in mind that this account may not allow the new contact’s availability to be
watched (for an explanation see “Account Properties – Presence” on page 49). In addition, when you switch
default accounts, the list of contacts displayed on the Contacts tab switches from the old default account to the
new default account.
Table 12: Account Properties – Storage
Field Description
Storage method The storage method to be used for the Contacts list file and the presence rules.
The file can be stored locally or on a remote computer.
• Local
• WebDAV
• XCAP.

I have read the WIKI and the manual on scheduling a conference with PBXNSIP, but I must be missing something. I have changed the conference mode to "scheduled" conference" but I don't see where I can send out emails from the PBX with the conference PIN code or schedule the times/dates of the conference.
I'm running 3.0.1.3023 (Darwin) on a Mac Mini using Mac OSX. I've checked every screen, and I can't seem to find where to do this. I've attached a screen shot of my conference extension for reference. Thanks in advance for the help.

I read that there is a plugin I can install to allow me to dial from my address book in Mac. I've installed the PBS client from the website, but I don't know how to install the address book plugin.
PBX Not Recognizing Incoming Calls from Address Book
in General Setup
Posted
I recently upgraded to 3.3 (from 3.0) and had to make a couple changes to dial plan. All of my entries in address book do not have the "+1" at the front of the number. When a call comes in, it does not recognize the number in the address book and passes on the Caller ID. If I add the "+1" to the entry it works fine.
Is there a preference somewhere that I can change to allow it to recognize these numbers?
I've attached screen shots of current dial plan and truck settings.
Thanks!
