  1. I am just playing with a Snom Vision on our Snom ONE and have a couple of questions. I am going to go against my better judgement and list them all together... 1) Can I provision the buttons from the SnomONE? 2) How do I configure co lines to light up on use? 3) How can I get MWI lights? I have tried to set up as BLF but the lights don't light... Thanks.
  2. Is it possible to get the SnomONE to email MP3 files instead of WAV when sending voicemails?
  3. The from and to details look like this... from : 7715123456 (014237715123456) To: 01423987654(41) where 7715123456 is my mobile number (with digits changed) and 014237715123456 is the same number but with our area code prepended... Does that help?
  4. I am on 4, yes. I have added 3 boxes, thanks for the help.
  5. Sorry but I'm afraid you have now gone beyond my understanding, what would you like me to look at and where?
  6. That sounds ideal to me, but currently I need 3 mail boxes?
  7. In the Domain Settings where it says... Country code (e.g. "1" or "32"): I have entered "44". If I enter "+44" Ii get a javascript alert box saying "Please enter a number" as soon as I press the "+" key.
  8. If ext. 42 picks up their phone and dials "42" they ring their own mailbox, this is recognised and menus are presented. I have an extension set up for use as a shared mailbox and several extensions log in to check messages but they need to enter a pin, is there a way to get the shared box to identify extensions as if they were it's own?
  9. I want to set up our voice-mail system with three different outgoing messages. 1) When all agents in the group are logged out I want a "No one is available..." message. 2) If someone uses the escape mailbox from the agent group queue I want a simple "Please leave your message..." 3) Finally, if the night service flag is set I want "Our offices are now closed..." The catch is that I want all of these on the same mailbox so our staff don't have to watch 3 separate mail boxes. Is this possible or do I need to set up 3 extensions with 3 messages and 3 boxes and route the calls appropriately?
  10. We have a SnomONE Plus and a collection of 821's and 870's on the desks. When a call comes in from my mobile number (say 07890 123456) the phone just displays 7890123456 missing the leading zero off the front. This I assume is the cause of the phone not finding me in the phone book and also of missed call emails not identifying the caller properly and making a mess of the ring back number by adding our own local area code to the front of the number. How do we go about adding this zero back onto the number for appropriate identification? If you need to know for diagnostic reasons, we use a Vega50 for our ISDN interface and we are in the UK.
  11. Boom, there goes the problem, and now I feel like a noob again Cheers.
  12. It is not. We have a separate HTTP server delivering config files to the phones as XML files.
  13. I have just had the following reply from Sangoma... Is there anything else you can suggest?
  14. We have Snom 821 phones on most desks and I want to configure a button to monitor the Service Flag. I have a server doing some provisioning and in the config file I have added... <fkey idx="3" context="2" label="Night Mode" perm="">dest <sip:987@192.168.2.135;user=phone></fkey> Really the context needs to be set to "0" or "active" since not all of the phones have the identities in the same order, some phone have multiple ID's etc... but no matter how hard I try this comes up as "Not Found" when I push the button. If I configure the phone manually through the web interface on the function keys page it works fine, and the line generated in the XML settings looks just like the one above. It simply doesn't work when the setting is pushed from the provisioning server.
  15. I have set up a service flag and can successfully turn it on and off from the phones, but I can't figure out where to set the number it diverts to. The page you link to shows a section titled "Night Service" where the phone number would be entered but I can't find that anywhere. I have attached a screen shot of the config page.
  16. That seems to have fixed it for outgoing calls, will I need to change to config in NetBorder for it to fix the incoming calls? Is that how this works or is the fixed outgoing just a coincidence? I don't suppose you know what the Sangoma setting is do you? You are a little faster than them on support queries
  17. I am just going through the process of setting up a new SnomONE and it seems to be working OK with SIP trunks. When I use the analogue phone line however (Sangoma A200 with an FXO module) things go a bit wrong. For the first 15-30 seconds (it varies from call to call) the remote party can't hear anything. the Local party can hear just fine, every single "Hello?", and "Are you there?" that comes from the other end is crystal clear. I have spoken with Sangoma about this issue and having looked at logs and configs they say everything is fine at their end at that the fault must be with the SnomONE software. Any idea how I can fix this?
  18. I am just setting up a new SnomONE install, my first. How do I go about the following configuration... We want to set all calls at night to forward to an answering service. How can I set up so that (preferably any) extension can dial a code and forward ALL incoming calls to the external number. Does this have to be a combination of *80 to get all of the calls coming to one extension and then *71 to divert to the service or have I misunderstood / missed something?
