  1. What about picking up on behalf, parking a call feature ?. Is these feature are supported in Cisco and Polycom IP Phone with Snom One ?

You need the Green license, all features of the PBX are open.

Please contact your nearest sales office.

  2. Both phones should be able to work with snom ONE, however it depends on the version you have for which functionality works.

Free, Yellow and Blue, you can not transfer a call. You can only register up to 5, 10 or 20 devices (free, yellow, blue)

    Green all functionality.

I would suggest you need a green license, please contact your distributor or nearest snom office for pricing.

  3. On the snomONE+ in the "servers' tab there is a 'View PBX passwords" feature which is very handy when you auto provision phones and are trying to debug as you can see in plan text the randomly generated SIP passwords.

The only problem is that in mine with about 50 extensions, they are in some strange order and not sorted by extension (or anything esle I can tell).

They start to skip lines and/columns and you end up with not matching extensions to passwords and not all them show without any button for next page.

    Anyone else having this?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Nathan

We will look at this, it is a simple display issue!

  4. Hi Jag, where can I get more info about the "Green" option. We are looking to attach more ATA or Softphone. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you.

Green is un-locked, you can attach as many ATA or softphones as you like, you can also transfer between devices.

Please contact your distributor OR sales office in your country for pricing and sales information.

  5. Provider Twytel provides also codec G711u - G711a.

Is it possible the error has another background ?

    Best Regards,

    Marc

The trace states clearly it is an unsupported codec issue.

Either get them to swap to G711u/a OR buy an upgrade license.

  6. It is Pbxnsip - 10 user licence. But it does not have that codec either.

Is there a way to convert our licence into a snom licence with the codec ?

    Best regards,

    Marc

Please contact sales@snom.com, stating which country you are in and a copy of the existing pbxnsip licenses.

    Thanks

    Jonathan

    2. Start the PBX

    3. Go to the license section, click on the middle button to view the license, delete the license and press save.

  9. For example the 10 extension free edition, if everyone is on the phone and another call comes in, what happens? Seems a bit unlikely but i could happen in a very busy sales environment. It appears free edition is possibly limited to 10 exts. and 10 total calls? please verify.

Also for the yellow and blue edition.

There are no limits to calls in any version of snom ONE - (free, yellow or blue).

We dont believe in limiting calls, so we just limit the extensions instead.

  10. I can read this line:

REFER from device type "Linksys/SPA941-5.1.8" is not supported in this product

Is this the 3rd party limit applied from Snom ONE?

Yes, a third party registration is designed for ATA (for fax), SIP phones etc Standard SIP phones will allow a registration, calls in and out and hold.

The free version allows 2 3rd party registrations.

  11. Make the joke end.

    ;-)

We will look at changing it, however in the mean time there are several other options you can do here:

    1. You can request full demo keys with a time bomb which give you all features of the PBX, no restrictions, just email your sales contact at pbxnsip or email the following:

    USA Sales - sales@pbxnsip.com

    European Sales - eusales@pbxnsip.com

This allows you to deploy with no restrictions and allows the entire system to be created ready for live.

    2. Resellers should have an NFR license for testing, if you don't, contact your sales contact at pbxnsip (same email addresses as above)

It is all part of the sales cycle - keep in contact with your accounts manager or sales contact and we all benefit from more sales, better features and happy customers.

BTW... people do operate with 3 minute keys, we have found many in the past (yes, I didn't believe it until I was shown several in live environments, however resellers in some countries lose out due to this behaviour). Consider the average call lasts under 2 minutes, especially in some contact centers, there have been many times where some resellers have lost out, both from a sales, support and customer point of view.

Coming from a sales point of view (and all resellers should be sale orientated) how would you know if any of your customers were ready to buy the PBX, your service or support if they have a 3 minute key and don't communicate with you OR us. If you offer an unlocked demo key which is on a time bomb, you can guide the customer to a sale, as they will be in full communication.

    Thanks

    Jonathan

  12. just my assumptions but maybe pbxnsip can clarify.

    matt

    Existing licenses will not change.

New license will be issued as per the comparison list and your price list.

ACDs are still available, you should order the Pro Plus edtion.

Please contact your account manager for a new price list, this will detail the products and feature list.

If you don't know who your account manager is, email eusales at pbxnsip.com.

    Thanks

    Jonathan
