  1. you are good to go on the VPN .. the default gateway will route between the 2 sites and provide internet ., otherwise you would need to do some route statements .. should be easy ... remember, if you can ping it .. you can ring it !! yori
  2. yes this is hardware dependent .. basically you could play a shuffle on iTunes, output this to the line out on the sound card, then take a small cable from the line out of the sound card to the line in on the same soundcard, essentially looping it back into itself .. this allows the PC to play the misic out the soundblaster, then pipe it back into the soundblaster and route it to the pbx .. yori
  3. Since the DNIS holds the number called, you would have to work it out with the carrier to super impose the ANI (caller ID) with the DNIS (actual number dialed) .. There is no way for the system to do this ... maybe pbxnsip can shed some light on the future ability to do this ... the ANI should be in the SIP messages ,.. Just not sure how hard it would be to incorporate it into the system .. yori
  4. the 2.1 version has the overhauled recording, per trunk or user automatically ... no buttons necessary and keeps them available on the file system for easy retrieval and archiving .. But, alas the overhauled price as well .. yori
  5. Thank you ... feel free to contact me and I will mail them to other resellers out there who can make use of them .. or the offer stands to brand them as yours for a fee .. yori
  6. Unfortunately there is no official SDK or developer manual for SOAP ... most of it has been implemented through a couple of mutual relationships forged between pbxnsip and some software designers early on or just those that knew enough to kind of just figure it out. see www.solutions11.com as an example ... pbxnsip hotrodded for hosting and enterprise models if you have specific needs to develop an application you may want to develop some direct dialog with the company.. but honestly you will REALLY want to have a good reason to do so ... since the documentation and support for the SOAP is a bit sparse as of yet it is not a primary focus for the company since the last year has been primarily dedicated to enhancements of the software itself. If you want to delve into SOAP with the product you will have to be somewhat adept at digging through the XML tables to find the hooks you need ... Obviously , for a fee we can work with anyone interested and get you the information you need to develop any app ..But this cost would most likely produce undesired costs. We feel the software is an excellent choice for our market and have worked hard to bring many impprovements but, fully supported and documented SOAP access isn't exactly our strong point in the market right now .. hope this helps feel free to contact me to discuss in further detail .. yori
  7. Version 2.0.1.1624 has been confirmed to fix this issue ..yori
  8. are you sure you don;t have any overlaps in the extensions and the Direct Dial options 0-9 ... that has happened to me a lot inadvertently ... You should document these if they are easily reproduced and send them directly to KM or CS .. yori
  9. When you say gateway software do you mean like an FXO gateway ?
  10. All I put is the actual number .. say 16035551212 ...some carriers send the 1 and some don't so usually you have to read the SIP traces a little and screw with it ... try to figure it out and stick with the same provider for all your customers ... all these softswitches do things just a little different .. I actually just ran into a weird one and since the customer had XO using level3 and the new SIP provider I use had them on L3 it was crazy trying to figure out why my stuff didn;t work the same as all my other clients .. a call to a switch tech at the ITSP will generally help you work through it .. yoti
  11. That's an odd one and more a SNOM question ... I do know they have alot of options for the to: and from: header replacement ... there is a beta of the v7 Snom software that is pretty intense ... I saw it for just a short time ... there may be some options for you around the corner .. .. the pbxnsip service unfortunately just presents what the phone gives it .. any of the header replacements are more or less trunk options .. yori
  12. The new 2.0 has a SOAP y/n option ... if you had the 1.5 PRO that had SOAP access as the SME did not .. You may have a licensing issue .. you may want to discuss this with your reseller for a key exchange or some arrangement there .. I assume you got a 2.0 upgrade license .. yori
  13. in the trunks under "extension" put !([0-9]*)!\1!t!4164443333 fyi .. the tel: may not even be necessary ... I just use the number .. I have run into this a few times lately with providers that do not require registration .. yori www.brandywinetech.com
  14. http://brandywinetech.com/pdf/pbx_trifold.pdf http://brandywinetech.com/pdf/catalog.pdf I did all my own marketing materials, I can tell you the catalog was not cheap but has closed every deal and I have knocked everyone out of the park with it .. it's a nice 16 page glossy piece with cover stock .. I will supply printed versions free to anyone who purchases through Brandywine as their distributor, If you want tri-fold fliers similar to the attached.. I can modify them with your logo, email, web address etc and have them printed for you .. contact me for pricing and details if you like .. Yori www.brandywinetech.com
  15. What gateway are you planning to use .. a PSTN or to a softswitch provider of some kind ? yori www.brandywinetech.com
  16. I have done the same with smaller multi-tenant deployments and what you want to do is quite arduous and not very scalable I agree .. I generally have 2-4 Identities on the snom phones and assign different ring tones and button assignments so the user knows what company the intended call is for .. basicaslly, you need a way to take the ANI, send it to a database of names and insert that name into the SIP header .. otherwise, we could probably force the ANI to popup on the SNOM, but then the receptionist would have to memorize all the numbers for the tenants .. if you don't plan to exceed 10 tenants or so this may be doable .. Basically you are using the system as a BLEC .. Support may have a quick fix, if not you can hire a programmer through PBXNSIP to write the scri[t for you to represent the ANI as a system customization . yori www.brandywinetech.com
  17. I have used the Audiocodes MP11X series for up to 8 analog phones with no issue.. You can quote this using the AC MP124 which is a 24 port fixed FXS gateway approx $1300 or so street price .. or you can use the Audiocodes Mediant 1000 (M1K) and this takes up to 6 modular 4 port FXS modules .. the M1K is closer to $2300 street, has a metal rackmount chassis and is almost the exact GUI to the MP124 .. You should have no issues recommending this concept to your customer .. yori www.brandywinetech.com
