  1. where do i turn on reg_rtpsettings.htm ? is it the same port range settings in SIP-Audio-Port range start - Port range end ?
  2. while we used VPN services, we managed to get 99% of the mobile services to work except for a few networks like EE Mobile and Sky broadband in the UK that were still blocked even with the VPN. we have the RTP ports set for a range 49152-64512, what is the SRTP ports range? Also is it possible to use different ports range in Vodia for the RTP ports?
  3. Is there any specific guides on how to integrate STUN and TURN servers with Vodia pbx to address the issue of mobile network blocking the VoIP protocols? This will equally remove the barriers for the double NAT and SIP ALG issues.

  5. We are facing increased endusers’ frustrations with 3G company and Mobile providers blocking the VoIP on their networks. We have changed the default Udp port 5060 to a new number but still not preventing the one way audio. Currently we are using vpn for the clients which addresses the problem for now but on the long run we are looking at anti VoIP blocking solutions. Any suggestions please ?

Hello, I just like to get experience from other providers, we have situations whereby certain providers in the UK like Three Networks, EE and Sky ISP are blocking VOIP traffic. we opened support ticket with Vodia changing the SIP ports from the default but that has not resolved the issues . The main issue is when we connected either on Apps/Voip handset we have one-way audio. When we install VPN , the service start working. But we like to avoid users downloading VPN software just to use the service . We will appreciate if you can share your experience and best practice. Thanks.
  8. We ended up abandoning the Vodia Mobile apps completely as the clients complaints were too much. The phone contact is one big customer experience that Vodia missed in their beautiful app ( I see this like a similar resistance by Nokia to adopt smartphone, adopt dual sim cards by the end users demands and we know the rest of the stories ) , the app should be driven and developed by customer experience request and NOT what Vodia think that people shouldn't be storing business contacts on their personal phones. we are now recommending Zoiper/Linphone to clients.

Adding settings where the users can add the base url for their video server will be great , it gives the client the impression of having the collaboration tool in one platform. we currently have our own Jitsi server fully customized for client registration and scheduling from our website, but if we can pass the URL of the server into Vodia apps and open a separate browser when clicked this would be great. Even the current 1:1 video in apps settings has never worked for us !
  10. Even VitalPBX offers video with multi Tennant and cheaper compared to Vodia. So what’s the strategic advantage of Vodia Pbx ?

  16. Hello, we are in the process of doing custom development into our own CRM , our CRM is developed using PHP. Our developers have studied the online guides but having issues to understand the code. My Lead developer has sent me this email to find-out as follows: Sir, I have gone through every document link that you have provided me. and I have realized the curl document has not defined the prerequisite things. Can you directly ask the support team for a PHP code to add an extension for users? with one code I will be able to understand the rest of things. We simply need a single line of code in PHP to add an extension successfully in Vodia and with that they can understand the syntax.

  19. No. The App is not auto starting on Android except you touch the App and interact. we are running the latest PBX 6.7 firmware and Vodia Android App 3.7. Even most ratings and comments on the Android App suggests this still needs a lot of improvements. The iOS App appears to be more reliable but lack features equivalent on the Android App. So there's no consistency in both iOS and Android.
  20. I am using iOS 14 OS on the phone, we can't set up any extension using the QR code and no option to configure the settings manually like Android App.
  21. We have issues with the Apps, the apps is not auto starting except you go to the App and enable this. Which means we are missing calls from staff extensions. The App should simply work like any other call enable app like WhatsApp or 3CX app that I don't need to daily touch the app for the status to be green and enable. This is very frustrating for the users.
