I am already on the 68.0.7.beta release and it still does not work.

This is from the log file: The settings are identical to the ones on v68.0.7.beta, that works fine, but on this version (67.0.5) get the Alert Fatal messasge and no email delivered.

I have a Flyingvoice FIP13G phone, and a couple of other phones. I have configured the BLF keys on the FIP13G to show the other extensions and indicate when they are not available or in use. When the other phones are making calls, the BLF leds on the FIP13G change colour to indicate that the extensions are in use. Great. However when I make a call or enable DND on the FIP13G, the BLF lamps on the other phones do not indicate that the FIP13G is in use. Any ideas what this might be or how to fix? SoftKeys: I am currently testing the FIP13G and notice that there is no option on the buttons page to customise the SoftKeys. There are 4 softkeys on the phone, by default are mapped to History, Directory, DND and Menu. Is this something that can be added? Line Keys: The line key buttons assignments work fine, however, if say there are 4 line keys assigned, when the 4th one is removed, the change is not reflected on the phone. I have rebooted the phone and when I log into the phones web config, I notice that the 4th line still remains there. The only way for me to remove it, is to either factory reset the phone and re-provision, or manually remove from the phones config page. I think the way around would be to make sure all the line keys are configured, and those that are not configured/assigned the line type value is set to N/A, which is the default setting. These options may need to be added to the other Flyingvoice phone models as well. Thanks

The email logging either gives a handshake error staight off, or at the end, when it seems that the message has been sent to the email server. This is on a multi-tenant system which is on v67.0.5, there weren't any changes done with regards to TLS, between this version and the latest stable version available (v68.0.4)? I haven't updated the tenant system yet, as some changes were done on v68.0.7-beta that I need, so just waiting for a stable v68.0.7 or later to be made available.

I have already reset the certificates. The domain certificates have recently been renewed within Vodia and are due to expire in April 2022.

You may have the same problem with the buttons, but for provisioning you should be able to use the XML file.

Any update on this please? I have today once again, factory reset the X4G, setup provisioning with the xml config file, but the phone would not provision. Changed to the fanvil.txt and phone provisioned, so just need to sort out the bug with the button assignments.

@Gogsm I am still waiting for a reply. I have version 68.0.7.beta, Hopefully might get a response sooner now, that you also have the issue.

Like I said, on these phones the xml did not work, so have to revert to using the TXT file. I think the newer X4U series phone may use the XML, but the older X4 and X4G still use the TXT file.

The extension does appear to have the necessary permissions. Do you have a working screenshot that shows the relevant permissions?

I have just moved my email hosting to another provider, and setup the relevant settings, but when I try to send a test email, using port 465 it fails with handshake error. I have used the exact same settings, on my email client and am able to send emails fine. I think the issue might be the Root CA. Any advise please? I have

Hi, I am using v68.0.7 and have setup a scheduled conference room (401) and assign a DDI to it. On the email that is sent out, when a conference is scheduled, it just shows in the location, the account number 401, which for someone accessing the conference externally would not work, ideally I would want to show the DDI number in the location. In the email body all that is shown is "Your invitation to the audio conference PWT - Test Conf 3 in conference room PWT Conference Bridge." with no Conference pin etc. Where would I modify the conference email? I have tried customising the email_conference.txt but still get the above message and not the message I have setup. Is there something else I need to do? One other thing that might be worth looking into is the ability to add people into the conference, I know you could forward the invite, but might be a nice feature to add people and just send an invite to the added people.

I think that is what the issue is. I tried using the fanvil-sysconf.xml to provision the phone, but it would not work with that. So I had to use the fanvil.txt as the config file for the phone to provision. I have updated the phone to the latest firmware from the fanvil site. So I am guessing that you will probably need to make the same changes to the fanvil.txt config file.

I have tried resetting, the difference is now all the keys are shown on the first screen, including one defined on the second screen. The existing ones are not removed. Not sure if it helps, but looking at the config file on the phone, the FKeys are labelled 1 - 30, with each page showing 6, so I am guessing that if I define a button on the second screen it should be configured under FKeys 7 - 12, but it seems at the moment keys defined under FK2 are appearing under keys 1 -6 on the phone. Just tried version 68.0.7-beta, but still the same result. I configured button FK2-4, which should have displayed on the second screen of the display, but instead, all of the buttons on the first screen (FK1-1 to FK1-6) disappeared and FK2-4 was shown on the first page. Can't see the option to add buttons to the FK3, FK4, and FK5 screens either. Just can see the 2 sets of buttons. Do I need to do anything else to make this change effective?

An addition to my comments above..... I have found that the fanvil.txt just allows you to change/customise the phone settings, but the button profile I think is hardcoded. The Fanvil X4/X4G allows upto 5 pages of keys, which is 30 buttons in total, the max that can currently be configured are twelve. So guessing this needs to be looked at as well. Has anyone else come across the same issue? Even perhaps with another phone model?

I am testing out a Fanvil X4G, which has been upgraded to the latest firmware. The phone all registers fine, however the following are not working: 1. This phone has a secondary display, for the DSS buttons, which I can configure in the normal way - going into the extension and selecting the button option. I can setup the first page of the DSS screen in this way and the buttons appear OK, however if I define a button on the second page in the extensions as in the screenshot below: This overwrites the first button on the first page (FK-1 1). Also the button to change pages only shows 1 page being available. However if I change the 'FuncKey Page Num' option in the fanvil.txt config file then the button shows 2 pages and flicks between them. However the display still does not show the first key on the second page. Do you have an updated fanvil.txt file for the X4G or does anyone have a document which lists the format and settings of fanvil.txt? 2. No custom image is displayed on the phone - just showing the default fanvil image. I'm guessing this is another option that needs to be setup in the fanvil.txt? I did try provisioning with the fanvil-sysconf.xml, but the phone just did not provision at all, so assuming it will only work with the fanvil.txt Any advice much appreciated. Thanks

That's what I have been referring to during my testing and hence my comments and queries above. A complete guide with examples of the different types of calls and what CDR to expect would be nice, but in the meantime if you could answer my queries above?

I have enabled capturing of CDR using jsons and that works great. However looking at the data contained for the different types of calls, does not look correct. For inbound calls that are direct DDI/DID calls, answered by the extension, I have noticed the following: LocalParty - shows the name assigned to the extension, not the extension number, as suggested in the documentation. Type - is attendant, as this is a DDI/DID call, should this not be 'extension'. What are the different options for his fields - they are not documented. Extension - is blank, but the call was answered by the extension, should this not be populated? (This field is also empty when an outbound call is made from the extension) At the moment, I have only tested and am interested in direct inbound and outbound calls, but will be testing calls via IVR and Ring Groups and checking those records as well. If you could provide more detailed documentation, that would be great, as I intend sending this data into a Multi-Tenant Call Logging/Accounting solution.

That is exactly where I am seeing it. When you click on the dropdown next to Personal, the only option I get is Shared, but when I select that, I don't see any calls for the tenant. I also noticed an option in the group permissions for 'See calls of all users' and enabled it for this group, but that did not make any difference.
