  1. Stopped old pbx

Made a backup of the old /usr/Applications/snomone/conf folder

    Removed /usr/application folder

    Removed /Library/StartUpItems/PBX folder

I have installed the .dmg & copied snomONE folder to /Applications

    Rebooted Mac

    Started SnomONE Admin & crash

Copied the old conf folder over the /Applications/snomONE/conf folder

    Created a LaunchDaemon plist

    Rebooted Mac

pbx works but SnomONE Admin still doesn't want to work.

The dyld error looks like some library is missing on the Mac ?

  2. Tnx for the quick response.

I have installed this version but on one system I cannot run the SnomONE Admin.

When started it directly quits. System.log shows:

    10/12/11 21:15:33 [0x0-0xa60a6].com.snom.snom_ONE_Admin[4375] dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022

    And in crashreport

    Process: snom ONE Admin [4375]

Path: /Applications/snomONE/snom ONE Admin.app/Contents/MacOS/snom ONE Admin

    Identifier: com.snom.snom_ONE_Admin

    ------------------------

    System is MacMini Server

Otherwise the PBX is running fine.

I have another installation on a MacMini with OS X 10.6.8 and here SnomONE Admin runs fine.

Any idea what can be wrong ?

  3. Downloaded the (what I tought) latest version of snomONE from http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Downloads

[Mac - Installer - New Installations Only]

but this seems to be a (very) old version 2011-4.2.0.3958 which is still using the deprecated StartupItems Folders to autostart the pbx on bootup and writes files in /Libray/snomone.

    Followed instructions as explained http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Quick_Installation

Got the latest update 2011-4.3.0.5021 an dinstalled as explained on the download page but here youre adviced to store the files in /Application/snomONE/

    - Can the installer be updated so the pbx gets started with a LaunchDeamon plist file ?

    - All documentation is talking of the same uniform locations for files ?

    regards

    Fonny

  4. Does the PBX regular web interface show if the hot desking user registered? If it does, we will fix the WAC to check if the REGISTER messages are coming in from Hot-desked extensions.

In the Admin Login interface it shows under Accounts->Status as @:extension and Accounts->Redirection->Hot Desking at: extension

In the User Login interface it shows as 'Hot Desking at: extension

In the WAC the extension shows as 'Calls forwarded'

In the PAC the extension shows as not registered (grey icon) and green-busy icon when busy.

And I now also come to the conclusion I have put my question in the wrong forum. Should have been in the PAC.

  5. Please be consisted at both sites and make the clients also Mac, Linux, Windows, whatever browser there is in the world.

As a webdesigner you have to support all client's. That's why they make standards, not ?

All our users have Macs at their desktop ( + iPad, iPhone )

  6. i understand it is in the works.

(but not the cross platform part. likely just windows from my hearing)

I really do not understand why ONLY windows. We live ina cross platform world.

I wonder then why they have developed a Mac PBX version ?

  7. Unless I've missed something but it would be nice if an addressbook (LDAP) entry could be integrated in the WAC screen. I could lookup an address and initiate the cal from the WAC screen.

It would even be nicer if the WAC could be turned into a desktop application making it more robust. E.g. http://www.appcelerator.com/products/titanium-cross-platform-application-development/

And if all actual parts (my calls, call queue, extensions, conferences, park orbits, ...) could be made modular I could construct my own views and define my own look in changing the css.

E.g. I am not interested in a call queue, park orbits or conferences but would like to see the status of the extensions. And I would like to see this in a very compact window view on the site of my screen.
