joeh
You can also internally loop the audio output of the local computer back to the audio input of the computer. With this trick, you can use any MP3 player running locally to provide a large number of MP3 files How? Am I missing something, or is this MP3 Player\PC\Sound-card dependant? brandywinetech.com
How? Am I missing something, or is this MP3 Player\PC\Sound-card dependant? yes this is hardware dependent .. basically you could play a shuffle on iTunes, output this to the line out on the sound card, then take a small cable from the line out of the sound card to the line in on the same soundcard, essentially looping it back into itself .. this allows the PC to play the misic out the soundblaster, then pipe it back into the soundblaster and route it to the pbx .. yori
joeh
ah right - I interpreted this as some kind of software loopback, whereby you can tell Windows to take its 'Input' (or recording as its known) source from the WAV output, thus emulating a the cable that you suggest. No worries, I'll do it using the cable instead, as you suggested.
