z hall
I have a pbxnsip and I'm trying to connect it to a talkswitchCVA which I have no real experience with. To be honest I don't have much experience with the pbxnsip either, but I guess someone figured it was my job to get it working. The problem is it seems to get a 404/Not Found error whenever she tries to register up. Logs and settings are below if they are of any help to you. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll be sure to speak loudly of your insights or something. My side Trunk crown-test [ SIP-Gateway ] account: crown username: crown outbound proxy: 208.76.203.24 Trunk DID: (the number they're going to use) Thats pretty much all I've got for the trunk, here's the log entries for that connection [7] 2009/03/27 13:21:02: SIP Rx udp:208.76.203.24:20061: REGISTER sip:otter.highspeedlink.net SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 172.16.1.81:5061;branch=z9hG4bKE70DA13C;rport From: <sip:5408604580@otter.highspeedlink.net>;tag=35075023753126339556 To: <sip:5408604580@otter.highspeedlink.net> Call-ID: 4006437850 CSeq: 1711 REGISTER Expires: 3600 Max-Forwards: 70 Contact: 5408604580 <sip:5408604580@172.16.1.81:20061> User-Agent: TalkSwitchCVA/6.11b27 Content-Length: 0 [7] 2009/03/27 13:21:02: SIP Tx udp:208.76.203.24:20061: SIP/2.0 404 Not Found Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 172.16.1.81:5061;branch=z9hG4bKE70DA13C;rport=20061;received=208.76.203.24 From: <sip:5408604580@otter.highspeedlink.net>;tag=35075023753126339556 To: <sip:5408604580@otter.highspeedlink.net>;tag=a8a8afcccc Call-ID: 4006437850 CSeq: 1711 REGISTER Content-Length: 0 I guess my first question is why is 172.16.1.81, which is their private address, showing up in the log? They have a public IP configured. Anyway. If you have any suggestions that'd be great and if you need any additonal logs or config screenshots let me know and I'll get it hooked up. pbx support
Is the goal to register a pbxnsip trunk to the talkswitchCVA or vice-versa? Looks like talkswitchCVA is trying to register with pbxnsip with 5408604580@otter.highspeedlink.net as account. Do you have such account created on pbxnsip? I have a trunk/SIP-Gateway setup using that for account, and crown/crown for username and password. I guess my problem is I don't really know the correct procedure for setting up trunks between PBX boxes for the purpose of offering phone service/numbers to the remote PBX. I guess my problem is I don't really know the correct procedure for setting up trunks between PBX boxes for the purpose of offering phone service/numbers to the remote PBX. Setting up the trunk on the PBX is it is very easy. All you need to know is here http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Trunk_Settings Based on the information that you have provided, you need to create a "Registration" trunk on the PBX. Then fill in parameters given by your provider
