hawsmit
Hi all. I'm just starting out in my search for a digital phone service for my business, but I'm not sure what the difference is between PBX and VoIP. Are these two separate technologies, or just different terms?
mattlandis
you look suspicously like a spammer? (considering the signature) But...if your not: -pbx is typically a business phone system -voip is generally a more broad term that means "voice over IP"
Acecare
Yes exactly mattlandis, PBX and voip are almost the same but different in purpose. Most of the companies typically used PBX. I am also using voip phone because it has a great quality.
