Guest Enjoyingthesun
there seems to be a delay in registering individual phones (870's) back to Snom PBX when ever a slight change is made to the virtual key patterns. Ultimately the phones register (so there can't be to much wrong) but wondered if there is a faster way (ie instant) to register?
Vodia PBX
How long does this take? Maybe the PBX blacklists the phones for some time because there are a lot of SUBSCRIBE coming in at the same time (unauthenticated)?
Guest Enjoyingthesun
It would sometimes take 4-5 hours, but there was no pattern I have added each phones IP address to the access list and this seemed to make the process instant. I would consider the problem solved.
Vodia PBX
Generally speaking, you should avoid dialog state subscriptions because they are resource killers; that's why we came up with "buttons". But yes, white-listing the devices does help.
