I have noticed something, the URL http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-000413304B3D.xml" shows the data below (you will notice both the below URLS have the wrong MAC address in them), is this coupled with Snom ONE not having the directories?
"http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-firmware-0019D11CD87A.xml"
"http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-settings-0019D11CD87A.xml"
Why is the provisioning URL for the M9 that uses the M9 MAC address returning URL that has a MAC address of one of my PCs on the LAN MAC address in them? this is wrong, wheres the bug?

So, I assume the basic PnP mechanism works, but the m9 was not configured properly. Can you check the /generated// folder to see if there are files generated?
Nothing in there, there a folder "21" which is my main extenstion 21, however the M9 is extenstion 41, there is no folder "41", how do i generate this folder?

If you just enter the IP address like "192.168.1.3" it should work already (at least in the LAN).
I set it to "192.168.1.63:8080" as this is the server and port the SNOM ONE server is on.... how do i know its working?

however, this doesnt work (the settings URL in the returned XML file doesnt seem to work...

I have an M9, ive had issues finding the settings server address, think i have now found it.
When it has a message the MWI works on the M9 (get the right softkey and mail icon), however Snom ONE sends the MWI info as 0/0 but the M9 doesnt remove it.
Snom Log file shows:
[6] 2011/12/01 19:28:01:Reg 693, Sent MWI notification 0/0 (0/0) to user 41@network.ashleygriffin
However the M9 which is extension 41 still shows the MWI icon (shows the icon and softkey)..... this may be settings related.....
I have used this URL in the "http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-0019D11CD87A.xml" in the Provisioning Server
If i use this url in a browser it does pull up an XML file with firmware and settings URL (firmware is correct but i cant get the settings URL to show in a web browser which is http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-settings-0019D11CD87A.xml
The webpage for the M9 base unit says this:
Messages-Waiting: no
Message-Account: sip:841@network.ashleygriffin
Voice-Message: 0/0 (0/0)
Why would the hand set be showing a message?
ideas?

Think i found it....
http ://server:port/prov/snom-m9-{mac}.xml
If this is it, do i need to put in the the {mac} manually or will the M9 base do this by itself?
something line "http ://192.168.1.63:8080/prov/snom-m9-settings-0019D11CD87A.xml"

Hi, Faxback used to do a free plugin for Windows fax, however its a paid for product now, anyone know of a plugin for Windows fax i can use as i need to play with a few setup details.

Hi
I have a SNOM360, when i press "Directory" i get a list of mainly extenstions, however how do i update this list, and how can a user do it from the phone?
I know each phone has an address book as well, however we only need the global address book to be used... ideas?
-
Could we see the dialplan you are using? We can't reproduce the issue. It is apparent that the dialplan will connect using the first two digits if the first digit is not a one (1). The SIP-URI shows no beginning one (1) for Beverly May and the phone performs virtual key presses to 'redial'.
Hi, i think you are after this "North America (2-digit extensions [2-7]x)"
However you are correct, there doesnt seem to be a "1" in the number, however i am sure it comes though but seems to loose it somewhere, that said it appears you might have found a bug...
-
We opened an issue in our bug tracking system, with ID SCPP-3412 . We will do our best to solve it as soon as possible.
This is good to know, however i notice the SNOM 360 says it sent 51 to SNOM ONE, or is the whole dial plan thing that is sent to the phone part of the bug itself (so the phone sends 51), i might be mis-understanding this abit but when i check the "dial out number list" it shows 51 and not the whole number (so to me, looks like the phone is sending 51 and not the complete number, but then i dont know how the phone logs stuff (this is from the phone IP address not only the SNOM ONE log).

2011-4.3.0.5020 (Win64)
I deleted all the messages, problem solved, however it still remains an issue that it doesnt show the correct messages!

Hi, i havnt seen any fax stuff in SNOM ONE, any ideas how to do this?
-
Hi, the accounts page says "0/3" messages (which is correct), however when i press the Retrieve button on the phone (SNOM 360), it dials 821 (extenstion 21 mailbox as designed), says there are 3 saved messages, but the end of the logfile from SNOM ONE shows:
[6] 2011/11/21 19:17:28:Reg 625, Sent MWI notification 1/2 (0/0) to user 21@network.ashleygriffin
Its sending that one is new, how do i debug this?
-
Hi, this appears to be sending "51" only, so something is happening at the phone itself (SNOM 360). I cleared the log file, did a search in the "received calls", then cleared log file again, there was a received call that was "BEVERLY MAY <sip:519xxxxxxx@174.137.63.206;user=phone>", when i pressed the "tick" button to dial the phone itself says "51", the first line of the line says:
It seems the phone is sending 51 only, any ideas why, ive also confirmed this in the log file on the phone itself both via the soft buttons and the phones webpage (SNOM 360)? (ive put x's in the number above for obvious reasons)

Not sure if you understood my question. If the INVITE from the phone has 10 digits, then PBX will use all 10 digits, not just 2 digits. So, the question is does the INVITE contain 10 digits or 2 digits?
I'll check that in 2 hours, i guess logging is going to be needed to be on for this
-
The PAC/WAC does not work properly on newer versions. They work only in the older versions.
Are they fixing that?
-
Do you know when you press redial the phone is sending the 10 digit number or just sending 2 digits. If you dial 519 xxx xxx, the phones send out only 51 instead of the whole number. But if you redial , lets say after you dialed 1 519 xxx xxxx nunber, the problem should not happen.
If i respond to a missed call it is only using the first 2 digits, i understand if i "redial", i dont want to be writting down every single number i have missed to add a "1" at the front, surely this system has a way of working this out.... its a PBX it cant be that hard, so how do i do this?

Hi, i am new to SNOM ONE, however i have a voip line, which goes to a hunt group, this groups rings an extension for 15 seconds, then goes to that extension mailbox.
However during certain hours i need this to run at different extensions for shorter times, is there a way of having 2 hunt groups for different times of the day?
Or something that can change the ring times (preferably a hunt group) for different times of the day...

It is a PBX attendant console or Web Attendant console, where you can have a program to watch extensions, etc.
My questions is I hear there was a PAC v4, I have a version 3, is there a download area for the v4 PAC? My customers love having this feature.
I think i can get in to WAC, however how do i access PAC?
The WAC doesnt show anything on my screen, nice blue screen with no data at all, i.e the mailbox just has the text "mailbox" top left side..... looks like a total dead screen to me.... ????

Hi
Living in Canada i set the Default PnP dial plan scheme: to "North America (2-digit extensions [2-7]x)", this works great (i thought).
So when i dial "21" i get extension 21, when i dial "1 519 xxx xxxx" i get the call connected, however all the Caller ID never show the "1" before the number so when i press redial i get the first 2 digits as an extenstion number...
So i guess the PnP dial plan could do with being edited, how do i do this, i need to be able to call back the caller ID numbers with out having to write them down, how can i do this OR how do i have something check what the number is thats comming in and add the "1" on the front so when i call it back it doesnt turn in to an internal extension number?

Hi, i found this part of SNOM ONE by accident, what does PAC and WAC do (ive only seen WAC), i assume it only works from the local network as it talks to the phone directly?
-
I have it working with voip.ms and get a really good sound quality (with SNOM ONE), let me know if you are still trying to use this and can send over the settings i have that work well (at least for me at toronto gateway.
Provisioning bug (mainly M9 with the XML file)
in Extension Setup
Posted
I have noticed something, with my M9 base unit i use the provisioning URL
This uses the MAC address of the base unit, however the below file is returning (you notice it has different MAC addresses in them, and these MAC addresses are for a workstation on the network. (its doing this with the SNOM 360 settings URL as well...!!!)
I currently have the M9 plugged in to the PC port of a SNOM 360, so how did a computer MAC address end up in the returning file form SNOM one? This would explain why the M9 isn't getting provisioned, also there are no extension folder being created in the below tree actually on the SNOM ONE server (as its windows i can check it) , so what's up with the server? Its version 2011-4.3.0.5021 (Win64)
