Most devices like this I have worked with have always had some way for tech support to recover after a lost password, have you guys at pbxnsip built something into the CS410? You can press the reset button on the back, that will reset the IP configuration and the Linux password, so that you can log in by SSH. Then you can edit the pbx.xml file and delete the password hash there. Then the admin password of the PBX is empty and you should be able to use the web browser to log in. Not convenient, but if one would happen to have said "specially designed cable" it would be an option for a recovery in an emergency.
