gotvoip
I have two polycom phones each connected to two different PBXnSIP systems and both are using plug and play binding the mac address to the extension. One phone displays the proper date and time (an IP601) when connected to a CS410, the other one (IP550) is connected to a suse based pbxnsip system. Both pbxnsip systems are running 2.0.x software. Any suggestions? I don't want to have to manually configure the Polycom phone.
Vodia PBX
Well, the pbx by default asks the phone to use pool.ntp.org for getting the time. If you don't like this address, you can change it in the pbx.xml file (restart required). Maybe the 2nd phone cannot resolve the DNS address.
