Parks Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 We are testing this unit for residential subscribers. We have a unit up and running just fine with making calls but under it's extension then registration tab it's not showing the devise being connected. Nor on the domain screen it is showing any phone registered to the extension. Secondly when calling the number it goes to voicemail right away and doesn't ring. This is because the system doesn't see the devise. Does anyone else recommend any other ATA devise? Quote
Vodia PBX Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 We are testing this unit for residential subscribers. The above problem sounds a little like there is something in between the PBX and the ATA, maybe a firewall that wants to be smart. Can you try to get the device working just in the LAN, no Internet involved? And also, please don't use STUN for allocating a "virtual" public IP address, this usually screws pretty much everything up. Quote
Parks Posted December 6, 2008 Author Report Posted December 6, 2008 So I opened ports 5060, 5061 and the RTP port range and pointed to ATA devise and still no go. Also I cannot try on the LAN because our servers aren't in a LAN but on the public network locked down. Quote
