gotvoip Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 I have a customer that assumed since *90 is for paging they could just dial *90 and the extension and it would make an intercom type call however it just rings normally. We were hoping not to burn a paging account for each extension that we want to be able to page direclty like this. Is this possible to do w/out creating a paging group? Sounds like a good feature if it doesn't work this way. It was a polycom 650 phone running the latest firmware. Quote

I don't know Polycom products that well, but you need to look for an Auto-Answer feature. 4.6.1.7.2 Ring type <ringType/> from Polycom manual. I use Aastra phones and they have it. Bill H Quote
