atilla.gahbro
i need to know if there is any way to play a chime when using the *82 listen code like we do with the *81 barge-in code ? unlike the listen mode *83 where the internal user also can not hear the supervisor the *82 code does a talk path cut through to the station being taught so the supervisor can be heard so i was thinking this could also be used as an OHVO (pbx/ksu feature for off-hook-voice-over) replacement to make announcements to the user who is on the phone. in addition to being a coaching feature. but execs wont want to be tapped in to without hearing a chine on their end first any way to make this happen? if not then maybe a feature enhancement for future releases? Well the point of the listen mode is that the parties are *not* notified about this. This is really pure stealth. That is essentially the difference between barge in and listen in! You can control with the permissions who has the right to listen to which calls. This way you can make sure that the execs are not being tapped.
