Bill H
Has anyone had any experience with sending faxes out through a PSTN Gateway? Bill H
brandywinetech.com
I avoid faxing through the system, IMO it's more of a hassle than it's worth .. Just an opinion ...
Vodia PBX
Well, if you are in the LAN and there is no packet loss than that is a very doable option. Otherwise you better use T.38. More and more gateways support it, but unfortunately this standard is very much different from RTP and the different vendors are not talking well to each other. Daniel Floeckinger
We are using our Fax connected to a Audiocodes MP-112 and a TELES VoipBox as PSTN Gateway. All t.38. The TELES unit uses the Audiocodes Chipset, so they are 100% compatible to each other. Before we changed to the Audiocodes, we were using a Linksys 2102 with t.38. This setup worked 95%.
