Fred Gaston
Per the 2.1 release notes there is new feature in trunk: Feature: When a trunk initiates a redirect, there was a problem that there was no user available that could be used for charging (and for the dial plan). This was e.g. a problem when using Microsoft Exchange. This problem is now solved by a new setting that explicitly tells the PBX what accounts to charge for such redirected calls. Can someone explain the use of this please and what extension to designate. Thx
gotvoip
I am assuming it is this setting on the trunk Assume that call comes from user: We were seeing unauthorized messages when calling into exchange so I am also guessing that if you put in extension 101 in there then it will look for account 101's credentials and send that when it is challenged. Vodia PBX
Well, this setting is neccessary to tell the PBX which dial plan to use (and which acconut to charge) for a call that is initiated by that trunk. Background is Exchange, because that does do that.
