andrewgroup Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 How does one assign an alias to the one existing localhost? Based on recent knowledge gained at a recent PBXnSIP training class, there are long term benefits to have all domains named to match what might become a FQDN to accept true SIP calls, not just calls from an ITSP... Please tell me alias can be added ro an existing localhost domain. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Well, just edit the domain (don't click on the link, click on the edit icon). Then you can set your primary name (e.g. pbx.company.com) and the alias names may include the "localhost" magic string (e.g. "company.com localhost"). You can do that while the PBX is running, there is no need to restart the service. Quote
