Ryan
Hello, I understand that you can just tar the entire pbxnsip directory (/usr/local/pbxnsip), but I am wondering what would need to be done to create backups per domain, so our customers can go back to say Wednesday's backup, and restore what they had. If i just tarred the whole pbxnsip directory each day, that would be in essence an full backup of the system and this is not what i need. Thanks in advance, Ryan
Vodia PBX
We are working on a domain backup/restore feature. Backup is already there but restore not yet.
Ryan
Thanks for your response. I had more meant from a Linux standpoint, like what files exactly would I need for backing up a domain this way; if this is even possible. I simply want to put a backup into a cron etc. Thanks again
Vodia PBX
In the file system it is quite difficult. Because there are many links between the tables. And if you want to restore it, you must choose different table entries and restore the links.
