Bill H Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Our PBXNSIP is on a server that a number of people can access. We want to protect our Address Book Folder and some other folders from being viewed by anyone but the Administrator. Is it possible (in Windows) to LOCK the folders from being viewed? Thanks, Bill H Quote
Vodia PBX Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Windows has extensive possiblities for file access rules. It should be no big problem to get that working. You just need to make sure that the PBX service can still write to that folder. In general, I would no allow any user to access the PBX directory. There is plenty of sensitive information in there that nobody should be able to see. Quote
