But after the announcement "press 0 to be connected to the switchboard" the caller have about 1 second to decide. If you wait longer you are connected with the mailbox and prssing 0 only generate sound on the Mailbox ;-) Is it possible to have the announcement of the Mailbox excape char at the beginning. Vodia PBX Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 Yes, we originally had the feature that the user could also press the button after the beep - however that caused a lot of problems so we took that out. I think the best workaround is to put another second of silence after the operator annoucement and this way double the time that the user can think about going to the operator...
