moh10ly
I integrated Lync with snom and currently managed to make calls from Snom UC 300 with Lync user registered in it as an extension (40) to another Lync user's phone number (DID). Snom would work and make the call to Lync if I'm calling DID in this format (0216 333 4214) however if I called the extension which is 4214. it would say Disconnected, Not found 4214. When I checked this in the log. I can see that the invite is not going to Lync FE IP address, instead its going to Snom PBX it self! I'm not sure what i'm missing here? Vodia PBX
I think this problem is not related to Lync, it is the general question on how the PBX knows where to send the call. You might have to just enter something in the "send call to extension" on the trunk (see http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Inbound_Calls) or make this field blank. moh10ly
It was related to the pbx.xml file in snom folder, the sip option request from Lync to Snom should get a response which can be enabled by setting the value to true in the file http://plugvoip.com/out1.PNG. Matt Landis figured it out however, now I'm getting 404 not found for the extension 40 or 41 if I called from Lync to Snom Phone. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tb1l3bey4nrkzni/wireshark.jpg Lync call fails and reports 40 is not in service, please check the number and try again. I have tried setting the Send call to extension: to 50 or blank but either nothing worked. could you please help me on this! thanks
Vodia PBX
Hmm in version 5 you actually don't have to change the setting in the pbx.xml file. Any chance to get (in a private message) the whole PCAP?
