Ziki
Hi, For incoming call, we need to play a message and then simply hangup. How can I achieve it? Thank you for your help. Cyrille
voipguy
A couple options. 1. Create an extension with mailbox enabled (record your message), set the Maximum number of messages allowed to 0 (so it doesn't record any voice mail messages). Don't have any phone/device registered to this extension/mailbox (so when the caller calls it the greeting/message will play right away instead of the caller hearing X rings) 2. Create an auto attendant - under IVR - record default welcome message, Turn off these options: - "Please enter the extension number" - "For our dial by name directory, press..." - "Or remain on the line for general assistance", Under Edit - "Wait before answering the call (secs):" - set to 1 if you don't want the caller to hear a ring - "Timeout (s):" - set to 0 - "Direct Destinations:" - don't put anything in here
Vodia PBX
For incoming call, we need to play a message and then simply hangup. How can I achieve it? For this you can use a IVR node (see http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=IVR). In your case, the pattern !E!-! should do the trick.
