metwest Posted April 22, 2013 Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 Hi guys On a few 5.08 installs now our customers are noticing that on incoming calls they will get an extensions name appear on there screen instead of the correct incoming number caller id. Example _ say account 40 is named Joe Blogs. Randomly on incoming calls, Joe Blogs will appear on the ringing phones screens instead of the correct Caller Id. Vodia PBX Posted April 22, 2013 Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 We experienced that behavior with certain firmware versions of the phones. We tried later firmware versions of snom phones and they did fix that problem, however introduced other problems so that we recommend waiting for a better release.
