rob al Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 I've been trying to find the ARM builds of snomONE 4.5 to install on a raspberry pi. I can't get it activated for the "free" licence. Do you know where i can find them? i know the snomONE mini requires an ARM build thought i found it here: http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Updates with this file: http://snomone.com/downloads/snomONE/mini/pbxctrl-mini-4.5.1.1107 but i can't seem to activate it. Am i doing something wrong? Quote

I believe that you first need to test if your current license is eligible for an upgrade to version 4.5.1, here: https://snomone.com/upgradev4 Otherwise, you need to first register & go through the checkout process to obtain a license to v5, here: https://www.snomone.com/versions Quote

IIRC, no licence key is issued for free licences. Quote

The MAC address of the device serves as coupon code in that case--the license will be bound fixed to that MAC. Quote

How do i do that? Quote
Vodia PBX Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Oh for new installations you need to use version 5. Also keep in mind that the libraries might be a problem as the version 4 build uses some relatively old stuff. You can test with ./pbxctrl -version if the executable is able to run on the system. rob al Posted April 25, 2013 Author Report Posted April 25, 2013 it runs fine, i just cant activate it. Why not? i had 4.5 before, then i installed 5. why can't i reinstall 4.5? Quote
Vodia PBX Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Does your activation code start with 5 (5XX-XXX-XXX-XXX)? You can get a code from snomone.com, also for free. The version 4 codes don't work with version 5. Quote

Vodia PBX Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Yea the last V4 build don't support free anymore (was stopped somewhere in 2012). If you want free, V5 is the way to go. Quote

Vodia PBX Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 You can register multiple devices on one ext as a workaround... not unusual in home environments unless you have library, billiards room, social room, guest suites and lobby, kitchen, bedrooms, fitness center, pool, sauna, walk-able closets: then you can probably afford a bigger license Quote
AspirePBX.com Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 What routers can you install the software on and what is the process of installing the software on a router with own firmware like WRT types. I know it can be done however I no longer see the instructions. Please help Quote
Vodia PBX Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 If you are on MIPS and OpenWRT you can try http://portal.vodia.com/downloads/pbx/mipsel/pbxctrl-mipsel-65.0.2 (that's just the binary). Try to download it, chmod a+rx and test if it runs with pbxctrl-mipsel-65.0.2 --version. Quote
