andrewgroup
What options are available in the new BLACK CS410's to control call hang-ups?
Vodia PBX
There are two ways to detect hangup. Impedance change (which seems to be used in the USA) and polarity change. Detecting the first is easy, the second is detected when the first time there is a polarity change. There is no setting (neccessary) for that. Unfortunately, in the analog world, things are sometimes instable. In our office, we have had Verizon lines which must have been very very long. After switching to Comcast "Digital" (which is also FXO, but only a few feet long) things looked much better and there was no more problem with DTMF, hangup and so on. andrewgroup
We had two problems that we can't identify. In the shop before deploying a new 410, when you hung up a phone, the SLA reappeared on the phone, and subsequent calls into the device on the previously used line, went unanswered. More testing on this today. A 410 that was deployed last week has required a reboot already. Tech on site this morning to remove all logging, and to setup PNP on snom 360's. Does a error log exist in the file system that might identify what happened and how to prevent this?
Vodia PBX
Does a error log exist in the file system that might identify what happened and how to prevent this? The latest version at least has the option to include the FXO gateway log in the PBX log. Maybe it makes sense to write those messages also to the file system (embedded system, so be careful!), they should include FXO messages.
