metwest
Hi Guys I would like to customize the "menu.xml" file to add some features for customers. Example add a "System Call Log" option in the menu so a person can see the whole systems call log on there handset and dial from it. Is this level of customizing possible for ME to learn and do? Or is this level of customizing not possible for the user.
Vodia PBX
In principle that is a good idea. Changing templates is a good idea instead of changing code. However, the PBX will (hopefully) block this request--users are not allowed to see other users CDR. Also, the scope of available XML commands is pretty much narrowed to what is already available. metwest
Lol...understandable I guess. I had a few good ones. Call recording logs on the handset was one, or extra button keys in there was another. Oh well :-)
metwest
Actually would it be hard to put buttons in the menu.xml? Being able to make a custom button profile with extra buttons and then adding them to the menu.xml (things like a day/night service buttons) would be great in freeing up some buttons on the handset.
