andrewgroup
What might be a safe way to have a dial plan commented out for future use? would it be as simple as putting a ; in front of the match knowing? In he US, 555 is the universal dummy phone number. Does it make sense to use 555 followed by 1 or 2 digits to indicate specific dial plans to access certain trunks. In the case of having 6 offices, each PBX could have a dial plan to access 6 different sip trunks 5551 with no replacement would simply create a call to a sip gateway, assuming an AA would accept the call. 5552 etc. 5553 5554 This appears to simplify this the brain. Vodia PBX
A semicolon might actually be a reasonable choice - it will make the match pratically impossible. I would be careful with numbers, maybe someone really dials that number and then you have "funny" effects.
