daniel
For some reason for the past 2 months, when a call rings on the cell phone, the main trunk # Called is shown instead of the original Caller Id. how can we avoid this? At the same time, when calling the auto-attendant, it used to be that the auto-attendant would recognize the cell phone and allow to interact with PBX, this feature does not work anymore Any suggestion Daniel
Vodia PBX
Did you change anything? Are you using a ITSP? Maybe they changed something?
andrewgroup
Playing the guessing game I'd say you upgraded from an earlier version of 2.0 to a later version of 2.1.x The trunk settings have differences. http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Outbound_Calls_on_Trunk .02 worth based on the info provided. Don
Problem resolved, Our ISTP made a chance to override all outgoing to havea our main number, we reverted the changes and handle this in the PBX We ran into this same problem and found it was an error in the trunk statement. After we moved from Version 1.X of PBXNSIP to 2.1.4 for some reason the value in the Trunk statement for the P-Asserted field was set to none. We tried several settings and found that setting the value to "Remote-Party-ID" matched the results of typical in most US carriers. Now redirected calls show the original calling parties ANI and not the called party number. Hope this helps.
