cdominicy
Since the last restart of the Windows PC hosting the PBX, we have not received any notification email, and the external VOIP account registration is not completing. After investigating, it seems that the PBX has not got a DNS server which would explain the symptoms. In System Status Overview, DNS Servers is : 0.0.0.0 Is there a way to change this setting without a reboot? Thanks in advance for any suggestion or solution. Vodia PBX
It could be that the DNS server becomes available after the PBX service is already running. But the PBX should try again to get the DNS servers when there is nothing available. Last resort would be to try to restart the service, not the whole server. You can also check with ipconfig /all if the DNS servers are looking like you would expect it.
cdominicy
Thanks for the reply. The system's DNS is correct, I will program a restart of the service afterhours.
