  1. When you say "What the plan is is to use the pbxnsip recording feature," which recording feature are you speaking of?
  2. My first and easiest thought is to have it transfer the caller to another IVR that has the desired recording.
  3. When using *63 to rcv an email containg info of the last call, the prompt says "A call data record about your last call will be sent" In the future could it be ammended to say "A call data record about your last call will be sent by email" This will clarify the destination of the call data.
  4. When there is a message in my mailbox I can hear the Envelope info. I have heard that it is possible to have the same info automatically added to the personal address book. I have searched in many areas (including WIKI) and have not found the method to set this up. Can this be done? And how?
  5. Callcentric.com is now offering this: Pass Caller ID in SIP INVITE message This feature primarily applies to business customers and customers running their own IP PBX system. It will allow you to pass Caller ID as any phone number on your account or any external number that has been verified by Callcentric within the SIP INVITE message of an outbound call. Send the Caller ID number of a DID on your account or an already verified number within the SIP INVITE message of an outbound call. To do so, have your IP PBX attach any of the following headers which are supported by most IP PBX's (check your vendor's documentation for support) to your outbound calls: P-ASSERTED-IDENTITY P-PREFERRED-IDENTITY REMOTE-PARTY-ID For more: http://www.callcentric.com/new/#caller_id_in_invite Now with this new service available what would we do in PBXNSIP to use it? Callcentric says "(check your vendor's documentation for support)" Thanks...
  6. Is there a limit to the number of participants in a conference room? Is it linked to the number of concurrent calls?
  7. I have heard it many times. I believe that it is the DTMF Events in the RTP stream. It is usually there when a caller is in your mailbox and presses 0 to escape.
  8. Thank you. Your explaination was excellent and I was able to create additional (clone) Domains. Tjhanks again...
  9. What would the method be to do this?
  10. When I want to create a new Domain I see the option "Create From File" Can I use an existing file to do this and then make changes to the newly created Domain? Also, what would be the name of that file? Thanks
  11. We have talked about this before and I am following up on it. Many telephone systems allow you to record three different greetings for a mailbox. 1 For No Answer. "Hi I am away from my desk at this time" 2 For Busy "Hi I am on the phone right now" 3 For After hours "Hi our office is closed at this time" This gives the caller a more accurate greeting based on the condition of the extension. Is this in the works?
  12. I could not find 3.3.1.3173 on the PBXNSIP website. Is there a link?
  13. OK I will try it over the weekend.
  14. Thanks Matt. I did try that and it extends the number of CDR's in the Status / Call Log page. It did not extend the CDR's in the personal webpages. Bill H
  15. When extension users log in to their personal PBXNSIP webpage they can only see the last 25 calls they made. I looked but did not see any setting in PBXNSIP Admin pages to change this. Can it be changed to a larger number or is it fixed at what looks like 25 calls?
  16. OK Thanks I will try it out.
  17. We are using 3.3.0.3152 (Win32) and I waited 45 (our time out) seconds and there wasn't any additional prompt played.
  18. Are the message wav files actually deleted from PBXNSIP or are they just not able to be accessed?
  19. OK Thank you. I will looking for this to solve some problems.
  20. I have my cellphone number entered in my extension account. When I call in on my cellphone I am given a choice of Voice Mail, Auto Attendant or to make a call out. If I make a call out I need to hang up a call back in again to place additional calls. Is it possible to press some digit code like ### to release the call and deliver a new dial tone to me? Thanks.
  21. Can the Calling Card be made to use Call Back function? Here is what we have in mind. I call into PBXNSIP from a remote hotel location where calls cost $4.00 per minute. If I can call the PBXNSIP Calling Card account and enter the number where I am staying, record my name and room number, it could call back play the greeting I just recorded and the call is sent to my room where I then enter a code to make calls.
  22. If a message is deleted is it possible to retrieve it? If not, when might this feature be incorporated into PBXNSIP?
  23. A caller comming into the Auto Attendant dials a non-existing extension number. The Auto Attendant responds with "This extension number does not exist". Could this prompt be amended to say "This extension number does not exist, please try another." Some callers just hang up because they are unaware that it is possible to try another extension.
  24. When I call into our system and I am answered by our Auto Attendant if I press * or # it just sits there. I entered the * and the # in the Direct Destinations area of the Auto Attendant Account and it still did not work. Is there a solution?
  25. I have a CS-410 system with 6 phones in it. They are all Aastra 57i's. Aastra allows you to program buttons to show BLF indication when a phone is in use. One or more of the phones (at times) do not get an idication that another phone is in use. Has anyone else seen this or have a possible area to look at. Thanks
