  1. OK Thanks for the input. Reducing the phone to only 1 line would not work for the extension user. But that brought to light that this is a "Call Waiting" issue. I did discover that the Aastra 57i phone has a setting for "Call Waiting" Enable or Disable. I Disabled it, in the Aastra, and now the PBXNSIP "Call Forward Whne Busy" works properly. Thanks again. Bill H
  2. When I set my extension to Call Forward Busy to my mailbox (8205) it does not work. While the Call Forward Busy feature was activated, I placed a call on my extension (205) to an outside party. During my conversation I had another extension user on our system call my extension 205. That call rang on my phone instead of going to the Voice Mail (8205) as set in Call Forward Busy. No other forwarding has been set for my extension. We are using Version 3.0.0.2998 (Win32). Is this a bug or am I missing a setting elsewhere? Bill H

    Database Access

Are you running the PHP in the same computer that PBXNSIP is running on? If so, that would allow the 127.0.0.1 address to be used. If you are running the PHP in a different computer, be sure to use its address. Bill H

    Database Access

It sounds like you have a license that does not include SOAP. I used Visual Basic ( a language I know) instead of PHP which I don't know. I don't know if there is a SOAP Port or not. I just used the IP Address of our PBXNSIP followed by the web browser port for the pbx. It was being accessed from a remote location. We moved PBXNSIP off port 80 and on to 56566. Example: 192.168.1.123:56566 There were some other posts in the forum concerning a method to determin if you have a SOAP license or not. That method may have been changed with the different releases since that time. Once you do gain access to the database prepare to get dizzy. It took me awhile to determin how it was organized and how to link an extensions data to the actual extension number. Bill H
  5. When a second Service Flag is added to the Hunt Group Service Flag Account (seperated by a space) it appears as if the Hunt Group is not respecting the second Flag. Is this a working function in Windows Version 3.0.1.3023? Thanks Bill H
  6. PBXNSIP already has that feature available. Dial into your Mailbox and enter your password. Press 9 and it will play back to you all the greetings that were saved/used before. You can choose which one you want to use. I hope this is the answer you were looking for. Bill H
  7. I the receptionist answers the call then all she has to do is press the "Transfer" button, dial 8 + the extension number. This will send the caller directly to the mail box. Bill H
  8. No it does not process any futher than that. The Wireshark just sits there. That is why I suspected that PBXNSIP was nor responding to the "Response: 500 Syntax error, command unrecognized" message. Bill H
  9. Here is are the three lines of Wireshark I receive when trying to use one particulat Email Server: Line_____Frame______Originate IP_____Destination IP__Service 2479___13.643247___211.146.45.24___34.41.150.162___SMTP___Response: 220 APPSERVER1.XXX.local SMTP service ready 2481___13.644240___34.41.150.162___211.146.45.24___SMTP___Command: EHLO localhost 2483___13.659967___211.146.45.24___34.41.150.162___SMTP___Response: 500 Syntax error, command unrecognized It looks like the Email Server does not understand the newer EHLO command. Under this condition the Email Client would then send the older HELO command. PBXNSIP does not send the HELLO command. Is this a bug or a missing condition? Bill H
  10. I verified that the time is correct by looking at the current calls at the STATUS screen.
  11. Sorry that Attachment did not show what I expected. Here is what it should have shown: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Include the cell phone in calls to extension: Immediatley Service Flag: Explicitly specify available times Tuesday 9:00-11:00 --------------------------------------------------------------------- On Tuesday: If I call the extension at 8:30, the cell phone rings. If I call the extension at 9:30, the cell phone rings. Am I missing something here???
  12. Should this be working now? We are using Windows 3.0.0.2998 I set up my extension as shown in the attachment and it rings all the time. There seems to be no control with or with the Service Flag set. Bill H
  13. We are having the same problem running Windows OS. 3.0.0.2998 Is there an upgrade for this? Thanks, Bill H
  14. Just a thought based on your trouble descrition: Make sure each pair for the telephone lines (PSTN) is not SPLIT. That is, make sure that you have the correct half of each pair from the phone company together. It is possible to have half of of one telephone line and half of another and still get duial tone. That would give you your exact troubles. Trace your pairs right back to the Demarcation Point to be for sure. Bill H
  15. I had a similar problem with Aastra 57i phones. The phone just sat there looking for DHCP. It had something to do with the PnP in PBXNSIP. Sorry, I don't remember what I did to resolve it.
  16. Version 3.0 Prompts While listening to a message.... First I press 6 to "Move or Copy" a message Then I press 3 to "Record a comment" and the prompt says to "Please record your message after the tone" BEEP It does not provide any information on how to end your recording (I discovered that the # key will end it) Also, when the Comment Message is recorded you "need to know" on your own what to next. You are, however, returned to the original "Move or Copy" prompt. I suggest a slight prompt change to possibly make it a bit more clear. This is the prompt now: "To move A message to another mailbox press 1" Suggested change: "To move THIS message to another mailbox press 1" Bill H

    Possible VM Bug

I replaced the original prompt with the new prompt and it sounds great.... Thanks....

    Possible VM Bug

This occurs while I am listening to my messages and press 0 (Operator) for Help. The Help list is read off and when it gets to the Move or Copy a Message area it says "Press 1" then it says "Press 6". The correct info is "Press 6". It seems as if an extraneous prompt ("Press 1") has wandered in here or I am missing something. Bill H
  19. That is a good possiblity. Bosses like things automated. Things that take care of themselves. Things they don't need to remember, but yield results. I will suggest the PIN Code method and see how it flys.
  20. Similar to that. The only difference is that the Messages only go to one mailbox and it is done Automatically.
  21. A request has come in for the following feature. I did not see anything on this in the WIKI. Does PBXNSIP have the ability to Automatically Copy a Message in my mailbox to another mailbox? Example: Joe, the salesman, is out sick for 3 days and does not check his messages. Bob, the boss, needs those messages sent to his mailbox Automatically after midnight. Bill H
  22. Testing the 3.0.0.2992 for the CS410. On the Edit Agent Group SOAP Interface: Queue Status URL: http://192.168.1.100:10000 In the past I was able to put a port number on the end of the URL. Now I get an error and it won't allow this.
