    Nightly CDR Reports

    Our customer is receiving a Nightly CDR Report that look like this: 2009/06/17 10:53:47 Dan (41) 17779689494 ((777)968-9494) - 7779689494 00:09 2009/06/17 10:55:46 Dan (41) 19733160902 ((973)316-0902) - 9733160902 01:19 2009/06/17 11:06:54 Dan (41) 17779689494 ((777)968-9494) - 7779689494 09:06 The dialed number is being presented in 3 different formats. Is it possible to see only 1 format?

    CSV Trouble

The CS-410 is running the new Version: 4.0.0.3204 (Linux) Thanks for your prompt response.
  4. I was told that PBXNSIP will not allow any additional calls once the CPU reaches 75% of its capacity. I am not speaking of the Maximum Number of Calls: in the Performance area. Does anyone know more about this? Thanks...
  5. Try this in the IVR Account: IVR plays a WAV Greeting and then hangs up on caller. Example: Use !E!-! in the DTMF Match List and the call will be disconnected as soon as the WAV Greeting has finished playing. Did this help?

    CSV Trouble

The CSV file looks OK in the CS-410 and can be parsed by Excel. The trouble only seems to be in the Windows Versions. In the CSV from CS-410 I see the characters || at the end of the line. These characters are probably the unprintable values for newline and return. I have tried this on 3 different Windows systems and they all have the same trouble. We have told our customer about the CSV Feature and are now counting on the CSV feature to provide daily cdr info. Now we are commited to something that either has a trouble or is setup wrong somehow. Please look into this in a timely manner as I am sure others will discover the trouble too.

    CSV Trouble

Using Windows 3.3.1.3177 (Win32) There is no Carriage Retrun Line Feed (CRLF) at the end of the CSV output string. Is the delimiter missing or am I doing something wrong here??? Set CDR Type for File:Disk Set CDR String for $w$e$c$d First CSV shows up as 20090616220804,49,8323801,16 Second shows up as 20090616220804,49,8323801,1620090616220829,49,8451234,14 No CRLF causes new reord to be appended. Using Wordpad to view CSV file. Excell doesn't parse it without the CRLF.
  8. In the Mailbox Greeting: Tell your callers they can press # (Pound or Hash) to skip the greeting. This will take them directly to the BEEP.
  9. Same problem here... http://forum.pbxnsip.com/index.php?showtopic=2663
  10. Setup:CS-410 Black Box 3.3.1.3177 (Linux) Factory Defaulted BLF Buttons set for Extensions 40 41 42 on all phones Trouble: When I have a PSTN call come into a Hunt Group, only the BLF LED for the lowest extension number (40) in the Hunt Group will flash on the phones. Thats not a real problem. If the lowest extension number in the Hunt Group (40) answeres the call ITS LED will light steady on all phones. This is what I expected. If ANY OTHER extension answers the call coming in through a Hunt Group, then that extensions LED will not light on any extension. This is a problem. I looked at the logging and there is no Notify sent out when any other extension answers the call coming in through a Hunt Group. I tried using an Auto Attendant and it works OK I tried it with an IVR and it works OK I tried it with and ACD and it works OK. It seems to be only when I use a Hunt Group. Any solution short of an update????
  11. Has anyone used a server running Windows 2003 server OS with PBXNSIP and other applications at the same time? We are looking for experiences where a Mail Server and perhaps other active applications are running on the same physical server concurrently with PBXNSIP. This will help us determine loading on a server.
  12. Does anyone know what Applications can be turned off when using a computer (XP) exclusively for PBXNSIP? Thanks
  13. We are going to be using PBXNSIP on a LAN dedicated to telecom. We plan to use static IP Addresses for all devices on this LAN. The computer will run Windows XP Pro. There is no router on the LAN. Does anyone know of a reliable DHCP Server software that we can use in this configuration? Thanks.
  14. The PAC v3 works well. Is it possible in future releases to add the ability to "Reveal" or "Hide" the telephone number the busy station is talking with? Executives do not want the Mail Room to know who they are talking to. A choice similar to Permission to Monitor this Account. Something simple like "Show Call Info in PAC" with a Yes or No choice.
  15. On the setting "Permissions to monitor this account" on extension 235 I entered 235. This should stop anyone but 235 from Subscribing to Ext 235 as a BLF light. This works well. However, it looks like the PAC does not respect this setting. I can still put 235 in the "Watch the following accounts on PAC:" setting and see 235's activity. Am I going about this correctly or is this the way PAC is?

    Camp On

Presently when I call an extension and there is no answer, I am offered a Call Back option by pressing 1. When the station becomes idle I receive a ring, pick up the handset and then press 1 to connect to the station. This works perfect. Question: I can see when an extension is busy by looking at my BLF button. Is there a way to get a call back without calling an extension I already know is busy? Like a shortcut code or something like that.
  17. 3.3.0.3152 (Win32) I have observed the same problem. If you enter a non-existing extension number, the auto attendant says it does not exist. The auto attendant then just sits there and does not say anything further. If I did turn off a prompt, then please tell me where I may have done this.
  18. We have a multi-domain system. I am trying to get the phone to pick up a configuration file for TestDomain1.net (not the Localhost Domain) When I set the phone to the IP Address where the PBXNSIP TFTP server is located, it doesn't load the stored config file in the TFTP folder. Rather, it looks like it uses Plug and Play and gets assigned to a spare extension in the Localhost Domain. Should I be using a different IP Address or maybe just turning off Plug and Play (question 1) would do the trick. Thanks
  19. Is it possible to clear the call log on the personal web page? If not, then where is the actuall call log located. I didn't see anything like it in the pbxnsip folders.
  20. I prefer to use configuration files in the TFTP folder to set up and manage our Aastra phones. Plug and Play seems to get in the way and places certain assignments into the Aastra phones. I would like to completly disable Plug and Play. Does anyone know how to do this?
  21. This looked very interesting and potentially usful in the future. I played with it for a bit tonight and if you add a !X! as the first character it will work OK. Actually any non-numeric will probably work OK. Example: !X!!0600|5400|4502!4011! ![0-9]{4}!00! I tried your original set of expressions and it seemed to allow 5400 4502 4011 but restricted 0600. As it turns out, any first set of digit(s) would be restricted. Thats what lead me use a non-numeric value instead. You cant dial an X. Give it a try and let all of us know how it worked out for you. 22. I have attached a wav file to let you hear the sound of Joe's voice.. It sounds a little like Darth Vader. Does anyone know what this sound is an indication of? Once he did a power reset on his phone (Aastra 57i) the trouble went away. I myself have also experienced this and had to reset my phone too. Any ideas????? 095550_o_258_225.wav
  23. My cell phone number is my extension account. When I call in I am able to dial 1 to make a call out. This call is recorded. When I look at the recordings file. I see my call but it shows that it was to 100 (our auto attendant extension) not the number I dialed. I looked over the WIKI concerning Recordings, but I did not see anything (the $Variables) that might help. Is it possible to get the dialed number to appear in the recordings?
  24. I looked in the WIKI under IVR Node and found this to reset the MWI Indicator. Set “action:set?name=vm_indicator&value=0/0 (0/0)” under SOAP URL I know that isn't what you are looking for but perhaps PBXNSIP Support can tell us what other "action:" methods are available. That may be where your answer can be found.
