  1. When i go to create an extension i get the following error on a small pop up screen:

    Extension already exists. choose a different number

    i click ok, and i click on extensions and i see the extension was in fact created

     

    has anyone experienced this issue and if so what is causing it?

  2. tried that, didnt work

     

    i did put the files on another server i had running and i have to point the phone to look at <ip address of tftp server>/spa$SN.cfg to get the cfg file and that works

    the .cfg file is the names: spa<SN# in CAPS>.cfg

  3. Hi, Im trying to register my phone via PNP and when i go to the register the phone, i get the following error in the logfile

     

    TFTP: File /spa962.cfg not found

     

    i do have a spa962.cfg file located int he tftp folder, any idea?

  4. I try and set an external number in the following format (212)212-2121 for when theuser input is 9

    and the caller gets a message saying "were sorry but your not allowed to place this if you want to use another extension for placing this call please enter the extension number now"

     

     

    what can be the problem here?

  5. Changed it over with no luck

    if on that trunk i set to send all calls to extension 611, which is an account under that domain, and under extension 611 i set all calls to transfer to my cell phone

    when i call the international number it does tfr the call to my cell, but it adds an extra 1 in front of the number, so the number looks like 11xxxxxxxxxx

     

    it seems the problem is when i want that a diff domain should pick up the number, then it doesnt work

  6. furthermore when i looked in the logfile

    it says it cant rewrite global format 442033183099

     

    most of our calls are USA (10 digit numbers)

    but now i want to enable to receive Internatiional DID's we just purchased

     

     

    i did create a seperate trunk for the new company were using for the new international DID

  7. i have several USA number

    in the auto attendant account under the alias namei have all the DID's that i want routed to that auto attendant, and it all works fine

     

    I just got 2 International number

    now i want to add the 2 international number i got so the PBX routes it to that account

    im facing kinda same issue

    i have the hunt group stage 1: 101 and 102 for 20 seconds

    final stage: (800)555-1212

    when someone calls into that office, the calls are on a hunt group for 20 seconds, then it goes to a autp attendant, then when they select an option from 1-0 it goes into another hunt group which works fine untill it has to get to the final stage, which i set stage 1 to be for 20 seconds then after 20 seconds the call just ends, it doesnt transfer to the extern number i entered inthe field for final stage

  9. Is it possible to set that on 11/24 were open from 9Am till 12:30PM and on 11/25 thru 11/28 were not open at all?

    i want to know if i can set this in 1 service flag, or do i need to build diff flags

     

    maybe in hopliday i can have 11/24(09:00-12:30) 11/25 11/26 11/27

    and that will set that 11/24 the service flag will be set except bwteeen the hours of 0900 and 1230

  10. This is conflicting, form my point of view,

    service flags should have settings something like

    set to open hours or set close hours

     

    On 1 costumer case we have to set service flag to 0:00-8:59 12:00-13:00 17:01-23:59 in order to have humain receptionist during business hours and AA when close.

    You have 1 service flag for diff departments?

    so fromw hat your saying, you can have 1 service flag if there is deff departments int he company that have diff business hours?

  11. I have a few clients that are set up with a manuall service flag, i was wondering if there is any way to call into the system from anywhere and change the status of the service flag

    I would also like to know if there is a way to change the night service number i have set in the Agent group

     

    i understand it might be a security issue that anyone calling that customer will change things around when tryign to figure out someones extension etc, so maybe have a Special "Account Type" that will be for administrative modes and have a DID go to that Account and require to enter a Pin number, maybe even build a white list of only which number can call in and access that special account

     

    i personally think this will be a very strong tool

    Confirmation: Press "1" to connect call

    Include the cell phone in calls to extension: Immediately

    Specify time when system calls the cell phone: No specific time excluded

     

    now when someone calls my extension my cell phone rings displaying the caller ID of the caller (calling my extension), it will announce the caller ID to me and tell me to press 1 to accept the call which is all good, but now if i dont do anything, just hqang up the cell phone, the caller will get disconnected.

    Id like to have an option of pressing 2 to send to voice mail, pr pressing 3 to transfer to an extension, etc
