  1. i can call from outlook only every now and then

    a lot of times it will ring my extension, when i pick up it plays busy ring tone

    and sometimes when i pick up it will call that number

  2. it has happened to at least heavy users on here, we do have info on when this happened

    when 2 system admins are logged into the system the same time, the trunk will move to the 2nd persons log in domain he is working on

     

    if I'm logged into company1 and make changes and another tech is logged into company2 (as system admin like me) and makes changes

    the trunk will move to company2's domain

  3. looks like i wasn't clear

    what this client does is, when a call comes in he wants a screen that pops up with all the callers info that he has in a database, and if it hasn't been entered yet because its a new client, then he will enter it in when he takes the first call

    the problem is those are products that know of an incoming call by attaching it to the phone line and works with PSTN lines

    here with sip, is anyone aware of any Sip capability products?

  4. can you actually confirm yes or no? i attempted and it wouldn't work,

    if you want to also use * to dial a start code, then maybe we can use *# and it will act just as if its another input and times out if nothing else but 8 was entered then it will redirect tot hat destination

    customer already ordered professional IVR recordings and it has the "press star to return to the previous menu" and pressing * doesn't do anything

  5. on the PBX.XML file, what is the value of app_product? and what is it used for

    Also, in addition can i change log_length to 1000 and will it actually log more info on the web page when viewing it? (our system is very busy and at 500 i don't get to find what I'm looking for)

    can i change cdr_email_size from 1000 to 5000 so i am positive i wont miss any call records at the nightly emails?

    what is provision_domain_name value for?

     

    is there also a value to allow how many emails the PBX can send out at once? with using goggle apps it seems that we only get approximately 80 emails even we are set up to receive 100 emails

  6. its so i can set up the following

    when someone calls for the order status dept, he can dial in his order number and when a rep answers the call from a agent group, they can see that info on the phone display part of the caller ID

  7. We have a client who wants to be able to do voice mail blasting, and when asked if we can set them up with it i was shamed to say no we cant.

    was wondering if there is a plan for it anytime soon?

    i know there was chat about mailbox acting like IMAP, where if a caller leaves a VM in a Sales VMB then everyone assigned to that mailbox/agent group will get the message in their mailbox, and if 1 person deletes it from their mailbox then no one else will have access to that Voice mail Message, which is a feature we have been looking toward and cant wait for its build.

    Here the boss wants to send all employees a VM telling them about upcoming thanksgiving party, and if one employee deletes it, others who haven't listened to it yet should also be able to listen to it and delete it from their perspective VMB. its whats known in other PBX's as Voice Mail Blasting.

    if there is currently a way to do it, please let me know how, i only found how to send a VM to one mailbox at a time, rather i need the ability to set up "Lists"

Just checked the Wire Shark file (which i run against the PBX) and it shows the caller sent 44 then 2244. then you see multiple DTMF 1's,which i believe is when 2244 accepted the call on their cell phone, and pressed 1 to accept the call, but why so many 1's and why didn't it receive the first 22?

  9. When calling into an Auto Attendant, several times Ive had this happen

    i dial 2244 (Valid Extension on the system) when the Auto Attendant picks up, it tells me "this extension number does not exist"

    i dial 2244 AGAIN and now it works

     

    its almost like the PBX doesn't do anything with the DTMF

  10. it has happened to me as well, i have a ticket open with pbxnsipsupport for several months and they were never able to figure it out, i also told them that i believe it happened when a System Admin was logged in, along with a Domain Admin

    try checking other domains, and i wouldn't be surprised if the trunk ended up there "some how"

    hopefully there is a fix for it
