I just confirmed with another PBX/Snom user
it seems there is a bug that the phone wont provision using PnP
-
I've been trying to reach the "Paid Support" for a while now to resolve a issue with using Snom phones with PnP HTTP Provisioning, but i cant reach anyone
is there a new phone number?
-
i have a asterisk at home that i want to register to our PBXnSIP
so when i make a call using the asterisk, it will actually use a trunk thats connected to PBXnSIP
-
i dont know what im doing wrong, but it doesnt work
anything to look at to see whats causing it?
-
One of my clients is calling "8080" actually reaches the 8080 Extension on another Domain,
How does that happen?
what did i mess up that allowed one user on a domain trying to call an extension within his domain to actually call the same extension number on another domain?
it repeated itself 3 times, one after the other
can anyone please help getting this resolved?

I have tried that several times, with no good luck. i don't know what I'm missing
i did send the LOG files from the actual phone to the pbxnsipsupport site , still waiting for help on it

here is what i did wrong
i was manually changing the max_loop in the PBX.XML file
i was supposed to change it by using the web interface (Global Setting)
now it works!!! thanks guys!!!

I will let other Cisco Experts chime in, since i never actually used it, but i know thats what i have to do
-
you will need to put the logo on a server and tell the SIP<mac> file where to grab the file from
i think the pressing 9 is a Skinny call control protocol setting, not SIP
this phone doesn't support BLF
to auto dial features, you might be able to do that by building a "Services" file

the (xxx)xxx-xxxx format is not the issue here
When i call the customer and instead of pressing 1 whioch takes me to hunt group 020, if i type in 020 it will work just fine
again, the only time im having this issue is when i from the AAIVR choose 1 which takes me to Hunt group 020

can you share the script?
-
Im having the same problems
-
okay, how do you do it with the 320 360 etc?
-
is it possible to have a option of the Confrence room admin to "Mute All" ?
-
I would recommend www.cyberdata.com products to be used as a overhead paging
-
it seems what you need is a setting to tell the PBX that a QUEUE should redirect to voice mail (just as if you called the extension directly)?
How much better to actually have a Voice Mailbox for the QUEUE? and a setting if caller waited more than 3 minutes to go to the QUEUS's Mailbox?

How do i use PNP with Snom 300 phones?
does anyone have step-by step instructions? i just got a couple for a customer and i want to use the HTTP PnP provisioning, this is for a hosted solution
-
I just tested again with only 1 registration per Extension
the call still disconnects
I call from my cell phone a customer’s DID which is being answered by an Auto Attendant, it gives me a few options (for example 1 for sales, 2 for the operator etc) i choose 1 which is set on the auto attendant to go to a Hunt group that I explained earlier, still the call will disconnect
-
add the DID to the accounts you want it to ring on
and the other DID's add to the other extensions you want it to ring
here is how you set the DID up
go to the account you want it to ring on, edit it, after the account number (in the first field) put a space after the account number and type in the DID you want to ring to that account
make sure the trunk its coming in from, is
a) set up as a global trunk
set up under the domain you want to use it
c) you dont specify on the trunk "send all calls to"
if you need help, IM me.......

is it something im doing wrong? am i missing something?
i followed very simple steps and i cant get it working
the call disconnects due to loops
-
can you post the file thats being generated by the PBX? maybe its not being generated correcrtly
-
why dont you set up a TFTP server and point the phone to get the files from that server by using option 66 or 150..

I'm trying to provision the yea link phone using HTTP like we do with Polycom, i cant seem to find how
what am i missing?
i saw the press release so figured it might work: http://www.pbxnsip.com/news/pbxnsip-yealink.php

i can assure that jlumby's suggestions will work perfect, we also use cisco phones but don't utilize PBXnSIP for provisioning them
