  1. so only if it’s a failure except for the "email event notification address"

    or if not an email. maybe a clue of what email address was causing the issue, and what email was being sent

    erasing the email is fine so the PBX doesn’t keep trying all day to send 20 emails that have issues, but if I don’t know what email address is causing it, I will never figure out how to correct the problem

  2. I was able to create an extension and have the other PBX register as an extension and make calls

    but was wondering if it’s actually possible to set up a "gateway" between the 2 instead of via extension

     

    the person trying to make calls on our PBX is able to register their device (which is actually a call blaster product)

    but they also want to test a "sip peer", is it possible?

    DNS Setup

    We recommend using DNS names to identify the service. This makes it easier to move domains or the whole server to a different location. There is a global flag called "provision_domain_name" which makes it possible to provision the DNS name of the domain instead of the IP address of the system (if set to "true").

     

    does that mean the phone will use the domain name and not the IP address? for the server address?

     

    also if I just recently changed the global setting, will all phones automatically get the new info when it registers next time? or only when it provisions using HTTP?

  4. I would like to request the ability to receive an email notification if a email doesn’t go thru because that email address doesn’t exist etc

    I go into the spool when I get into the office in the morning and the folder doesn’t contain the email that was unsuccessful, it’s a problem since I can’t drill down the issue

    I have another PBX that I want to provide it the ability to make calls

    so I want know if I can set up a trunk with a set of username / password and ill have the other PBX Register to mine

    is it possible?

  6. how about in a multi domain solution?

    it would be nice to set up that if the incoming DID is not added to an account on a domain, then it should play the you’ve reach a number that’s not in service at xxx. please check the number and dial again, thank you, this is a recording.

  7. to include cell phones will be in version 4.0 (option to include cell phone number of extension if its added to a hunt groups and another option to include cell phones in agent groups)

     

    a temporarily / dirty workaround now is to create an extension and under registration in the bottom by add contact add the following

    sip:CellNumber@IPAddressOfTrunkOrSignallingSwitch;user=phone

     

    for example: sip:19789781234@74.74.74.74;user=phone

     

    now add that extension to the agent group (or in your case after 30 seconds it should include or ring that extension) and anytime that extensions rings, it will ring that cell number

    the problem is that if the cell phones voice mail picks up, the PBX will assume the call is connected and the caller will be connected to that voice mail box

    which in my eyes isn’t professional
