  1. More than 'unfortunate'. To have bought a system that we have no access to makes we wonder what we bought.
  2. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove this file on the Snom One Plus PBX as you are not given the root password and this file has root permissions. Ideas anyone? Thanks, Stephen
  3. We purchased the system from Voipon (www.voipon.co.uk), a UK-based reseller as we are a UK-based company. I agree that the wiki is an improvement on the manual but it still has a little way to go yet. At least our system is now making outgoing calls (we have not dared route incoming calls via the Snom yet - still need to get Caller-ID working for outbound calls) so progress is being made.
  4. Hi Nathan, Thanks for all your help. I am now able to make outgoing calls, with a bit of help from Sangoma support who are very good. Do you know how to get the DDI(DID) number shown as the call number when making outgoing calls? Currently if I make an outgoing call the receiving party sees our generic phone number. Again, many thanks, Stephen
  5. Having read this thread I concur fully with the OP. We have recently purchased a Snom One Plus yellow, 15 Snom 320's and a pair of Snom M9's. Getting the Snom One Plus to work correctly is (still) an uphill battle, none of it made easier by the fact that the manual is North America centric and assumes that you are going to be using SIP as your primary telephony route. The PSTN documentation is minimal and the whole manual suffers from lack of meaningful examples. The manual also omits to mention some features at all, e.g. provisioning server. I work for a software house and I am a senior network administrator so I am used to reading manuals. I am astounded that this manual got through quality control. This whole experience has left me frustrated and our company doubting the decision to buy Snom hardware.
  6. Hi Nathan, Thanks for the snapshot. Very helpful! One last question. What does nbe1 nbe2 etc. relate to? By that , I mean, is it a setting/variable in Netborder Express? Is nbe(x) the only variable it could be? Again, many thanks, Stephen
  7. Hi Nathan, Thank you for your post but you forgot to include the snapshot!
  8. Hi, Recently purchased a Snom ONE Plus yellow and still have troubles getting it configured. The manual is inadequate if you not doing SIP configuration and/or you are outside North America (very US-centric manual). We currently only have PSTN with 6 lines and I have been in touch with Sangoma and they have accessed our system to confirm that the gateway is configured and started correctly. They have also mentioned that they can see no outbound calls arriving to the gateway (we have no inbound calls right now as they are devirted to another service). What should the truck configuration be? In the Trunk Destination field, what does NBE represent? I am assuming Netborder Express but the manual gives no clue Are the values that get auto-popluated in CO lines correct when I select NBE? I cannot change these (it always reverts back) Is the Proxy Address value of localhost:5066 correct? The Netborder Express gateway seems to be running on this port. And more generally, what other fields should I be filling in with this set-up? Many thanks for any help with this, Stephen Westrip
