  1. Well, that is just a speed dial. IMHO there is no reason to offer pressing "1" here, you might really want to hit the owner's mailbox. And you know that you are calling the cell phone number, even if you might not know the number itself.

I was thinking of the senario that a collegue transfers a call to *00<ext> when a person is on the road...

so the only time it works is if the cellphone is included in rining when the extension does?

    that fine, didn't realize that.

  2. Yea, we removed it. If you run version 3.2, you can just put "file:cdr.txt" into the SOAP CDR URL field and you'll get nicely formatted files in the file system.

    THanks for that reply.

Is it possible to put it on a NAS/or another server drive?

That way we can pull it into a SQL database and do our KPI's on it from there.

so is the cdr tool going away?

    thanks,

    matt

  3. It seems all the links to the cdr tool are dead. the wiki link, and links in this forum.

Or am I being blind? ;-)

What I'm looking for is a simple way to see certain info: calls per day; call per ext. etc.

  4. I have exactly the same problem as above but I don't understand the resolution.

I have extensions from 101-150. My AA says press 1 for sales and 2 for service...

    I have extension input=after 3 digit...

when someone calls in and presses 101 to go directly to ext. 101 they go to salesman...who is being inundated...

What specifically do you suggest as a work around?

    Thanks,

    matt

  5. Selling Professionals.

If you are out their selling products you are going to be forced to compare apples and oranges. Instead, our clients have never seen the name PBXnSIP unless they actually pay attention when we are training them on the WEB login page for their extension.

In the last 25 years of IT sales/support, whenever the client controls the debate of 1 vs. 2, I choose to walk away from the opportunity. Unless the customer is openly willing to place value on a solution to a business problem, then we really have nothing to offer. Getting a client to bleed with pain about their troubles, is the only way to become the Doctor that puts them whole again. Stop selling products and start selling solutions. If you can charge a fair and going rate to support a free product for a client, and it's meets their needs and you sleep at night - Go for it. There's nothing wrong with making a profit. However, after funding 1.5 years worth of Asterisk development and a large install that consumed 300+ hours over the first year, I choose to move all PBX sales to PBXnSIP. Our Asterisk developer was tightly involved and did some great open source work on my dime. The client never new it was Asterisk, and when we switched to PBXnSIP they never missed a beat and our support hours dramatically fell.

    Very interesting comments. Thanks.

  6. I have nothing after that, if you post your audiocodes and PBXnSIP logs, I am sure we can figure out your problem.

I've worked with pbxnsip on this and they have provided a solution. So I want to say a public "thanks" to them.

I will post my .ini too.

I appreciate your willingness to help.

    matt

  7. The IP of the pbxnsip is the 192.168.0.10, I don't know what that password is, it certainly is is not to the PBXnsip, as it is a gateway trunk not registered.

According to http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Audiocodes those 2 values should be left at their default values.

    Hi,

Thanks for sending that mp114 ini file.

    Unfortunately it didn't work.

My ini has quite a bit of info after the "[ \TargetOfChannel ]". there's no chance the forum cut off the bottom of the file? If so your welcome to email me directly.

  8. Hello,

Thanks for that post...that is what I was looking for...

I'm not at the computer to test it but had some questions:

#1- CNONCE = '0a123bcf' and PASSWORD = '787899'. Is this a password setup in pbxnsip?

#2- is the ip address of the pbxnsip server in this senario 192.168.0.10?

    My config is here:

    http://forum.pbxnsip.com/index.php?showtopic=2003

if you want to critique it.

    Once again, thanks.

  9. Yes, the Blockview is missing....

The Listview is all twitchy and flashy

It shimmys and shakes like the San Andreas Fault.

What was lacking in the Blockview??? I liked it..

    Bill H

    Very interesting (graphic) explanation...chuckle...

  10. We have good experience with AudioCodes, Mediatrix, Parlay, Patton, Vegastream as seperate gateways. Also there is the AVM FritzBox if you want BRI. If you want to use PC cards, there is Sangoma and Dialogic that offer SIP-based cards. We try to keep http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Interoperability_Pages up to date.

    Thanks for that reply.

I'm looking on your interop page and it seems like things are a bit out of date:

-i can't find the audiocodes MP-10x mentioned on the wiki on audiocodes.com--it seems like a discontinued model; the wiki is posted 2006

-when i click on the "Sangoma" link I get a "login required to edit" page

Perhaps i'm looking at the wrong place?

    thanks for the help,

    matt

  11. Hello,

Here is how I have my audiocodes MP-114 setup but it doesn't dial out or in.

    My PBxnsip server=192.168.1.152.

    My audiocodes mp114=192.168.1.151.

My trunk in pbxnsip equals the default setup with below changed:

    domain=192.168.1.151

    and username and password= blank.

    Default dial rule.

    thanks!

    matt
