Will this be part of the next release?
-
What do you mean by "they will not sell the PNP files"?. All the files are already in there in the PBX as templates. Whether the PBX does plug and play with the phone or not is a matter of license key. That's all.
They will not sell a license key with vendor: Polycom, they will set refer: true, however not vendor: Polycom.
-
pbx support you need to talk with sales, the last I heard from sales, they will not sell the PNP files, it would make my life much easier too.

Is there any way I can create a seperate music on hold for a few extensions?
-
Don't use mapped drive use UNC, as drive mappings are user specific.

Renaming folders and resrting services did the trick.

Can someone please help with this issue, no one has been helping in this thread or on ticket #20120711472 which I opened for this issue.
-
That was a design decision taken on v4 and it's been like that for a long time. The reason is that PBX should be just worried about the external calls and not the internal ones.
My thread was stolen, my problem is cdr emails started showing 0 calls, web interface shows calls fine.
-
Any solution for this problem? do I need to delete cdr folders?
-
As I stated in original post, the web interface displays the call log fine.
System time/date is OK.

Hi,
I have a server where for the past few days the midnight CDR email is showing 0 calls. In the web interface I do see the calls fine. Upgraded to 4.5.1090 to try to resolve was the same problem past few days running 4.5.1075.
The following calls were made in the domain on 2012/07/03
Total number of calls: 0. Total duration: 00:00.
Time Dir From To Remote Local Duration

We did retest here too and it was broken after 4.2 versions. We will work on a fix for the next release.
Any update on this in 4.5.0.1090?
-
Is there any way to set 4.5.1075 to call transfer the same way as in 4.5.1050? users are complaining about the calls remaining on hold at their extension after transfering the calls elsewhere.

Hi,
we have a SnomOne yellow PBX behind a Fortinet 110C. The PBX has an internal ip and on the Fortinet we made a port forwarding to internal PBX ip with SIP, RTP ports. The problem is that an external extension has no audio. The Snom 821 its registered an rings but no audio. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks for help!
Regards,
Dominik
You need to turn off all sip helpers in fortinet.

There should be a blank one, which is unlimited.

Are you using 4.3 or 4.5 version of the PBX? If you are using 4.3, it may not work right off the bat. You will have to modify the pnp.xml and add couple of PnP files.
If you are using 4.5 it should work.
Which firmware version are you running on the 720? all 720 firmware versions are very buggy, however every version has different bugs, some do not support PNP.

There seems to be some issue with PBX. There is one place when checking for the mailbox full, it is including even the recordings. We will fix it in the next version.
For now, the way to get around the problem is
-
- to move the 'messages' folder entries for that particular extension away(bit tricky).
- modify the web page to have more than 100 and set that as the mailbox limit. This is much easier to do by changing the usr_core_mailbox.htm from the "Web Page Control".
Just change the domain default to unlimited messages, and set the user to use the default.

I do not reboot, I restart the Snom One service, and that fixes it for at least a day sometimes a few days.
I created a script to restart th Snom One service at 3am daily, it solves the problem for first few hours of the day, I can not restart the service during business hours, how can I debug this.
The main complaint is, that the voicemail prompts lady is very slow.

Hi pbx support,
Did you have a chance to verify if this is a bug in the new SNOM ONE software?
I ask because we are planning on upgrading our PBXNSIP Hosted Pro + to the latest SNOM ONE version with a new license key that we just received.
Thanks
This is not a bug, it is specific to this machine, we have many other machines running fine.
-
Well, rebooting the server is unsatisfactory. Next time, please restart only the PBX service to see if we can narrow it down to the PBX and exclude the rest of the server.

-
Have you tested your ram or hard drive? Does the rest of the server work ok?
Server works great and quick, a reset of the snom one service does the trick for a while.
-
Tried disabling recording did not help, system resources are very low, however snom one slowed down, both recordings and web interface.

I assume this isnt running inside a Virtual Container? is 2008R2 installed actually on the hardware?
Phisical server no VM Dual Quad Xeon 2.66GHZ 4GB Ram. 2008 R2 Web, processes and memory utilization stays low.
I just turned off call recording to see if it helps.
