  1. Just wanted to make sure that it is not related to the call recording play options that we introduced in this new version. It is strange that we can't reproduce what you are seeing.

So the question is - under the domain->accounts page, do you really see, say, 24 messages for those users?

I see 0 messages for those users.

  2. Is the call recording turned on there? In any case we will double check.

Both clients are upgrades from 4.5.1050 to 1075. Both had recording turned on, on one I turned off after the upgrade it did not fix it. What did fix it was changing the default mailbox size from 20 to unlimited.

  3. I have 2 customers that complained about getting this message with empty messages after this update, please check for a glitch.

Your mailbox is full with 24 messages

Please read and delete existing voicemails from your mailbox.

Otherwise, people can not leave voice messages for you.

  4. I don't agree. Rebooting can never be "best practice". I would use ps or top and take a look at the process times, size, VM stat and so on. There must be a process/reason why the system slows down.

Running v4.5.0.1075 Delta Aurigids (Win64) now, it is less than 24 hours since service was restarted, and sysyem slowed down. Web interface is slugish, auto atendant has a delay between prompts and transfer takes an extra few seconds. A restart of the service will speed it up for a while.

Attached is a taskman screenshot, showing the resource utilization, I never saw this on other systems.

This machine has dual 2.66GHZ Xeon processors and 4GB Ram, 1 sangoma pri card, less than 50 extensions.

  5. Hello,

The latest 4.5 snomONE version(Delta Aurigids) has been released. This version is built on top of the Coma Berenicids.

The release notes and the download links can be found here - Delta Aurigids

Note: This is snom ONE release (i.e., not applicable to pbxnsip customers).

Thank you for the continued support.

    The snomONE team!

Was this http://forum.snomone.com/index.php?/topic/5846-wave-input-screaching/page__p__24716__hl__music__fromsearch__1#entry24716 fixed in this release, I don't see it in the release notes.

  6. I would check the hdd and see if the recordings or apps are taking up space which causes the pbx to be unstable, also check your access list for any intrusion on the system. Last thing I would check is the system cpu activity and memory usage and see what's hogging all the resources.

The HDD has plenty of free space 99GB fre on a 136GB drive. Access list is clean, I don't see any intrusions. Task manager shows CPU at 0% and memory at 19%.

  7. We have an issue on a system running 4.5.1059 Win64, after the system is running for a while it slows down, meaning all the auto attendant greetings start speaking slow, and maybe transfering a call also takes longer. A reset of the Snom One service helps for a few days and then it slows down again, please advise.

    Thanks,

  8. Well the built-in "player" is actually quite primitive. I guess you saved the file in 8kHz, mono, 128 kbit/s WAV format. Is this a large file? Maybe the one who saved it did that in multiple audio data chunks. Maybe you can make it available on a HTTP URl and send us a private message with a link, so we can take a look at it.

There is no file, playing using wave input from a radio.

  9. If I set music on hold to wave input we hear about 5 seconds of music from the wave input and the about 5 seconds of screaching noise, and the again 5 seconds music and 5 seconds of screaching noise and this loops constantly. I plugged a speaker in to the PBX and music plays nicely, music from a file also plays OK. v2011-4.5.0.1030 Beta Corona Austrinids (Win64).

  10. I deleted the generated files, it gets recreated with all 3 identities.

Something seriously wrong, I removed all mac addresses from the extension 201, rebooted the phone, the generated file was created good.

I put back the mac addresses on 201, rebooted the phone, the generated file was created no good again. it had extension 201, 219 and 234 again. and also added a 4th. ext 309.

  11. Did you delete this generated file that contains all 3 identities and rebooting the phone? The 7xx phones actually can do the PnP using the built in certificate too. I doubt the certificate has all 3 MAC addresses.

I deleted the generated files, it gets recreated with all 3 identities.

  12. I have a snom 760 which autoprovisiong is adding 2 extra identities that do not belong there. This is a remote phone being provisioned using the http://ipaddress/prov/snom760.htm.

The Qos/security has 201 for the http client, and has the domain provisioning password, and we expect it to be provisioned for 201 only. And it worked fine till last week.

However the phone is being provisioned for 201, 219 and 234. I tried removing the identities, deleting contents of the generated forders, however after rebooting the phone they reappear.

I verified the phones's MAC address is not listed on the registration tab of these extensions.

The snom_820_phone xml file shows all 3 identities.

The only thing I can think of, however I don't know why this will happen, these 3 users share 1 m9 base station, the MAC address of the base station is listed on the registration tab of these 3 users, and provisions successfully. I don't see why this will intefere with the 760 provisioning. This user has a 720 too which is on premise which is not being affected with this issue.

  13. I guess that will not show the problem. Generally speaking, the phones have a setting on how to show a SIP caller-ID in the form "display name" <sip:user@domain>. Usually not everything fits on the screen, so the phone picks some parts of it, which is controlled by a setting. Probably the problem is that we need to differentiate between the models when provisioning this setting. E.g. on the snom 300, you probably just want to see the user part, while on the devices with large color display, you want to see the name.

This is not a caller ID issue, this is a ldap lookup issue, problem is with the callers phone not showing the name of the person he is calling.

  14. Obviously I can change the pnp file to do that, however I don't think it is best practice to auto-provision the domain pin for the snom pin, many of us use complicated pins that include letters and symbols.

  15. Is there any way we can set a 1 minute max call duration to the paging extension?

We had many users mistakenly press the paging button and forget and not even notice, especially in playback mode.

They then have a 1 hour paging playback of dead air.

  16. It looks like the snomone provisions the m9 pin automatically with the domain pin, the problem is the m9 only accepts a 4 digit pin, so we can not register handset, etc. if our domain pin is longer and has letters or symbols.
