  1. Practically all carriers that I know do not support that. They are so scared that people abuse this feature for spoofing Caller-ID that they prefer to present only the trunk Caller-ID or even "Anonymous". Maybe we need to introduce a new SIP header that tells the carrier that the call is actually a money-generating cell-phone redirect and corresponds to an incoming call:

    INVITE sip:cell-number@carrier.com SIP/2.0

    From: <sip:outside-number>

    To: <sip:inside-number>

    Call-ID: 123

    P-Corresponds-To: Call-ID-of-other-call

    CSeq: 1 INVITE

    Any news in this??

Several of our customers needs/wants this function.....

I know you can do it with a SWYX server without any problems... jsut by changing the codes a little bit

  2. Are you using the "SIP" password or the "Web" password to login? (BTW, you need to use the "Web" password to login)

I am using the web PW as showed in the manual.

Have tried on two different machines with the same result.

  3. Changing from 9 to 32 entries must be done on the PBX. We did that already for you, the next software version will show the first 32 matches.

Yes, to get SUPERFOSS you would

    • press 7 (wait for the XML),
    • then 8 (wait for the XML) and
    • then if you still don't see SUPERFOSS press 7 (wait for the XML),
    • then if you still don't see SUPERFOSS press 3 (wait for the XML),
    • then if you still don't see SUPERFOSS press 7 (wait for the XML),
    • then if you still don't see SUPERFOSS press 3 (wait for the XML),
    • then if you still don't see SUPERFOSS press 6 (wait for the XML),
    • and so on. At any time you can use the up/down key if you see SUPERFOSS and select the entry.

Maybe your cell phone has something called "T9" entry, that is similar. When using the XML on the PBX, you must wait for the answer before you can enter another digit; that is because of the link-nature of the XML documents.

    Perfetct :-)

When do you expect the next ver. of the software?

  4. There are only 9 listings to limit the amound of data being transferred. It was programmed this way, there must be a limit somewhere. There are customers who have 45000 address book entries, and you don't want to load them all into the phone when pressing a button. Maybe should increase that a little. I believe Cisco can display up to 32 entries, that is probably a better limit.

    OK - but where do I change this on a SNOM320 ??

Furthermore, it still do not make any sense that I need to do following to get the company name "SUPERFOSS"

I press "7" "8" (both once) and then I have the Superfoss listings???

That make no sense to me???

  5. Nonono. You cannot search for "S" only. You can only search for [PQRS] (on of these characters). Then when you have the XML result on the screen then you can narrow down the search for the next character.

It is hard to explain. Maybe we need a video...

    I am confused....!!

BUT when I press one time at "7" I should be able to see use arrow down to search through PQRS - is that correct??

When I press directory and then "P" I use arrow down to see the list - but only 9 listings are showed......

    That can not be correct??

  6. Still do not work correct.

If I need to see a adressbook member starting with "S" normally I would need to press 4 times on "7", - Correct??

If I do that the screen is just blank.

    Instead, If I press

    "7" (1 time)

    then "arrow up" (1 time)

    then "8" (1 time)

I get the members starting with "S"

    Something is wrong here.......

    Any help???

I have now been all over the set-up again, and I still have the issues above...

    Any help ?????

The customer is pissed about the problem.

  7. Still do not work correct.

  8. hmmmmmm.

Are we talking about the same thing???

I want to have the security function on the http access to the phones, som customer do not f*** up the settings in it.

If I need to have every phone in my hand doing this, I will cost me moeny.

It has not been an issue before, and therefore I am wondering why it suddenly is!

Further more, on the SNOM360 the phone is say "HTTP PW NOT SET", and that is a problem in it self, as the customers think something is wrong.

What I am wondering, is just, have something changed OR what is wrong??

I can not be true that this function hav been removed from one ver. to a other??

  9. This will not work without some sort of routing proxy.

Before the PBX would route the call to the ‘global’ extension locally if it existed else, it would send it out to the dial plan.

Your suggestion may answer the routeing of the call to a trunk (calls must come in on a global trunk to map with a global number), but it doesn’t work like that. How does any dial plan know if a number exists on 1 server or server 2? This is the problem. Your suggestion means a trunk for each and every domain and a pattern matching string for each and every telephone number

Why did this functionality get changed? It maybe a local security issues and the ISP should be responsible for sorting that out, but as far as I am concermed you have rendered my system un-usable.

I look forward to an answer ASAP, as I have complaining customers on my hands

  10. The concept here is that the domains represent individual organizations and they have to reach each other via the trunks. So you can create a trunk on each domain and point them to each other. With a simple dial plan that uses this trunk to route the call to the other domain will solve the problem. (you may have to set "Accept Redirect" flag to "yes" on the trunks)

    I hate to say it.

I simply do not get it????

I do not understand - How can it be so complicated to allow users to call each other.

From what you are saying, if I have server with 50 domains, I need to create 50 trunks in each domain?????

Today we have a trunk in each domain, that goes to a sip server.

But the problem is, that PBXnSIP do not even allow the calls to be routed out of this trunk.

I think this is a big issue, and I do not understand how to make it work
