  1. Thank you for your quick response. Sorry, I should have mentioned we are running 5.2.5. We have 3 hosted servers. Each server has approximately 75 domains with at least 800 to 900 endpoints per server consisting of about every Snom model in existence but mostly 320, and 7xx models. Upgrading the PBX is not so trivial when it could impact hundreds of customers and thousands of endpoints. Is it possible to add a new phone to the system without upgrading to 5.3.0? The D725 is very similar to the 720. Is there any documentation available on how to add a new model of phone? We also are starting to deploy the M700 amd M325 DECT systems. Is there a time line on enhancing support for these models as well? Regards, Alan
  2. I have a Snom D725 that will not auto provision. How would I go about adding this new model of Snom to Vodia PBX. The phone is looking for the following uRL. http://PBX-IP-Address/prov/snom725-{mac}.htm How would I add the ability to pick the D725 from the PnP drop down on the customization tab? Do I need to edit the pnp.xml config file to add the D725? If I took the existing Snom 720 config from the pnp.xml file listed below, copied it and changed all instances of 720 to 725 would this work? <file name="snom_720.xml" encoding="xml"> <pattern>snom720-############.htm</pattern> <prefix>true</prefix> <macpos>8</macpos> <vendor>snom</vendor> <anonymous>true</anonymous> <protocol>tftp,http,https</protocol> <pnp-vendor>snom</pnp-vendor> <pnp-model>snom720</pnp-model> <pnp-version>^[78]</pnp-version> <pnp-content-type>application/url</pnp-content-type> <pnp-url>{https-url}/snom720-{mac}.htm</pnp-url> </file> <file name="snom_720_phone.xml" encoding="xml"> <pattern>snom_720_phone-############.xml</pattern> <macpos>15</macpos> <vendor>snom</vendor> <protocol>https</protocol> <parameter name="snom_transport"> <display>Transport layer (UDP, TCP, TLS)</display> <value>TLS</value> </parameter> </file> <file name="snom_720_buttons.xml" encoding="xml"> <pattern>snom_720_buttons-############.xml</pattern> <macpos>17</macpos> <vendor>snom</vendor> <protocol>https</protocol> </file> Regards, Alan
  3. Does Vodia TSP support Win 10 and Outlook 2016? I can't get it to dial.
  4. It did not install the first time I ran it, but it did install the second time.
  5. Is the CSTA Browser compatible with Windows 10?
  6. Devices with modems like alarm systems, credit card machines, postage machines, etc. are usually not very compatible with VoIP. Local jurisdictions can also require that the alarm system have a POTS line. For legal, liability and life safety reasons I would recommend you stay as far away from this as possible.
  7. Is it possible to call the voicemail system and have it prompt for the extension and PIN. What I would like is to allow any user to go to any phone dial the voicemail system enter their extension and then enter the PIN. Regards, Alan
