We just updated to Vodia PBX 5.4.0. There is a new field on the page to program buttons called "Prefix". I was not able to find any documentation on what this new field does. What is the purpose of this new field and what is it used for?
-
Perhaps I misunderstand what WAC is. If I log into my PBX with my extension, for example 1001@mydomain.com, I can see the status of each phone and make changes to my extension. How does one access the WAC and PAC?
-
The enhancements to the WAC on 5.4.0 and nice. It would be nice if there was a way to make the login a WAC view only. Basically when logging in you only get the WAC and not all the other features to customize your extension.
-
It would be helpful to know what version of the PBX you re running. I am running 5.4.0 and 5.2.5 and it is working for both versions. Have you tried a different image? Try the image I attached. It is working with my servers.

Grandstream Wave Softphone
ahennis@voicespring.net replied to ahennis@voicespring.net's topic in Grandstream Phones
I did not see the location to put in the outbound proxy on the Grandstream softphone. Once I found that I was able to get he softphone to work. -
Has anyone successfully configured the Grandstrean softphone with the Vodia PBX. What needs to be entered in for the settings?

Does this app work?
ahennis@voicespring.net replied to ahennis@voicespring.net's topic in Android App
Yes, the Vodia app on my android phone. When I launch the app I can enter the URL of the PBX and hit connect. It just sits there with the little circle of dots spinning. If I launch Chrome on my Samsung S5 and point it at my PBX it asks to install a cert with the option to install or cancel. If I select install it brings up the device storage which appears to be asking me where to install the cert. Where would one install it. If I select cancel takes me to a PBX Login page where I can enter my login and password. When I enter the login it looks like the Vodia app starts, but the app does not seem to work. Is there any documentation on setting up and using this app? -
I just upgraded my test server to 5.4.0 but can't get this app to work. Does this app actually work? Is there any documentation?

Call recording page
ahennis@voicespring.net replied to ahennis@voicespring.net's topic in Call Recording
Firefox 44.0.2 Using HTTP call recordings do not display until you hit the search button. Once you do a search call recordings appear and you can listen to them. Using HTTPS call recordings appear on initial load of page. Can't play recordings. When you click on a recording the playback widget appears, no sound is played and then the playback widget disappears. Call recording page
ahennis@voicespring.net replied to ahennis@voicespring.net's topic in Call Recording
I did a bit more testing. This only happens when using HTTP, if I use HTTPS all the recordings appear. -
I just upgraded a server to 5.3.2. When I go to the call recording page no recorded calls are listed. You actually have to hit the search button to get any recorded calls listed. On previous versions such as 5.2.5 when you go to the call recording page you get a list of the most recent recorded calls without having to hit the search button. It would be nice if when you went to the call recording page on 5.3.2 the most recently recorded calls were listed like it was in previous versions.

The GXP-1200 is an older Grandstream model but as far as I recall it does support call waiting. http://www.grandstream.com/sites/default/files/Resources/gxp21xx_14xx_usermanual_english.pdf

Version of Vodia PBX and brand, model of phone would be helpful.

I would use an agent group. I guess you could also use an auto attendant that plays a message, times out and calls a hunt group.

Did additional testing. Agent was not logged in Pressed button to log agent in. Agent did get logged in but button did not light up Selected extension in PBX and re-synced the selected account. The button lit up. Pressed the button to log agent out. Agent did get logged out but button did not go off. Selected extension in PBX and re-synced the selected account. The button lit up.
