  1. Yes it is only that im still havent figure it out how to, when calling from outside the Voip Network. I have 2 questions: 1. Is it anyway to dial in the same DID # that reaches vodia without having to hit or the Voicemail system? Not all customers have the voicemail activated, and some of then for any of their reasons, calls them selves from the inside network, but Vodia voicemail mgr seems to always get the call. even if ther voicemail feature is disabled. 2. How can i enabled the voicemail feature, to be able to hear a custom greeting message, but without giving the leave a msg option to the caller? Thank You -M
  2. Hi ! DID is set and route at vodia level (the acting softswitch for incoming and outgoind) The called DID call gets routed accordingly to the GS PBX. But Vodia is not setup to with any IVR for incoming calls, just only for when the final or far-end GS PBX is unreacheable, where i have set a generic msg greeting, to let know the external caller, of the unreachable number and the posibility of leaving a voice msg, instead of busy tones. The far-end GSs PBX have the customized IVR and all the rest. I have VODIA PBX as an simm Active SoftSwitch functionalities. hope this helps.
  3. Hi. and thanks for replaying. Let my try again with the basics as i can describe: GS stands for GrandStream My customers are behind their GS PBXs with their extensions registered to. Their GS PBXs are registered to a Vodia PBX different extension each of them. So the Vodia PBX Extension for one of the registered GS PBX is acting as an Extension. (having in mind that it is a GS PBX registered as and extension, but with their extensions as well at the far end) How can i dial or reach the Voicemail menu from outside the GS PBX Extensions? (I just tried calling from GS PBX to the DID # and i get the voicemail instead of the IVR of the GS PBX, wich i think im getting closer, but how can i do the same calling the same, but using a regular Cellphone or PSTN line?)   4. Hi ! I would like to know, after searching for an answer or information in vodia docs. The best possible way for my clients, that are behind a grandstream PBX that is also registered to a VODIA PBX as the SSW acting. When people left voice msgs, how my customer or the person in charge have access to it? When dialing from: 1. A regular external telephone/cellphone? 2. From the grandstream PBX that is connected to the VODIA PBX Acting as SSW Is there a special code or password or section i need to configure in vodia for each of the customer PBX I been trying to figure it out, but still havent reach the way.. Any help, really greatly appreciated. This is the scenario: A. Voicemail is enabled to when the grandstream extension registered to the VodiaPBX is unreacheable because any means. B. I Have uploaded a greeting wav file as greeting #5 and set: "When caller reaches mailbox, play this greeting: #5" But the question remains, how my adming customers from these grandstream PBX's or 3CX or External Telephones (PSTN, cells, etc) would have accees to the voicemails?   5. Thank You GM, i had tried that about 3 times, assigning diff passwords and setting them also at vodia. I will try to update that GS PBX to the latest firmware, and see if this is the main issue. Its complicated, since i dont have clear access to it, but i will try to make contact with them and ask them for the RD creds/ Thank You
  6. Hi again! and happy new years eve! Still vodia doing the same, when some customers IPs changes. Vodia keeps blocking them, until i create a new rule for whitelist them. Anything i can do? Thank You
  7. oh okay.. I just followed the directions for the upgrade.. So, i will stay with the current version running until??? new notice, or until appears in the upgrade list of versions then?   8. Hi The upgrade didnt worked, VodiaPBX could not start the service. I needed to rollback a copy of the full folder made before upgraded with the above file. During the update and after that update you can continue using the system. Note that after the software update that updated the PBX software itself, you have to restart the PBX or schedule a reboot.   10. Hi ! It wasnt the line given to me with the url. But the click on the 630.xml i press that sent the vodia to a prev. downgrade that seemed never allowed to recover from there ( as i said, i ended up corrupting it ) But its now working as the prev. day before that. I will try to apply the upgrade late tonite again. And keep you posted. But, if i want to manually download the .exe, wont find the page etc.. (or is it supposed to behave this way for security perhaps? not allowing external direct access?)   11. Thank You, for the info. And how about the upgrade to 63.1 ? i havent been unable to achieve this either in fact, i ended up corrupting it, needing to restore the whole system to get it back to the prev. day. Any help, greatly appreciated.

  14. Hi Im applying this to the maintenance, but only gives me: Software update failed. In a moment gave me 2 of 4 and then back to Software update failed. and keeps there.   18. Hi every single month when my customer IP changes, i need to manually add it to the firewall to be able to manage the registration of the device. Does this make sense for you? (I know the PBX of the clients (Grandstream) is behind a NAT) 166.172.190.139/32 Blocked (SIP/UDP) REGISTER 4300@sss.server.net 146 sec 166.172.190.139:46704 Enabled (SIP/UDP) REGISTER 4300@sss.server.net 18 sec I have set the maximun counts/numbers in settings under access in vodia, but nothing changes, vodia keeps blocking the registration, until i add the whitelist. I also suspect a bad password, but, is mostly unliked it. But i will check, soon i have access to customers PBX Meanwhile i posted it. Thank You

HI again, Sadly after trying all kind of combinations (as we can think of), we are still unable to send receive a call originated from a 3CX Extension with a CID set, and that CID is not showing or reflecting into the far end CellPhone, when is registered and passing thorough VodiaPBX. This has only worked, if we manually feed VodiaPBX extension+ANI with the CID that the far end extension have at the other side. But of coarse, this will require much more configuration at VodiaPBX to achieve this. Will be possible for you, to send us or show us a couple of PrintScreens with the Trunk and Extension Configurations, so we can apply it to this situation? Thank You -M
  20. Hi Is this is what you are referring to? From/To Headers Change names in To/From-headers: Usually it is okay if the system changes the names in the To/From headers in the SIP packets. For example, this makes sense when the address book matches the caller-ID and the system should present the address book entry. However, if the system is used as a SIP device in an operator environment, you may want to make sure that the system does not change headers. In such cases, this setting should be set to No. That i should use NO ????? Thank You -M

  23. Hi ! That solution above, after reviewing it, will be adding much more efforts to what we are looking for. We are trying to make it as simpler as possible. This bellow: Additional Notes for 63.0.4 Transfer Caller-ID: When there were multiple devices ringing in an attended transfer, the caller-ID was not updated on all devices if the B-party completed the transfer before any of the parties picked the call up. Additional Trunk ANI options. We have added more options for the Trunk ANI, so that the ANI of an extension calling a cell phone can be displayed. This abobe: will it means that perhaps what we are trying to achieve, might be possible? Scenario: Registering a 3CXPBX Trunk/Gateway/etc. to the VODIAPBX Extension and passing the Output CallerID been sent from 3CXPBX to the final Cell/Phone Number, without loosing that 3CXPBX output CallerID ? We need this really bad. But without using Trunk/Trunk Thank You again.
