reco Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 our company just moved to google apps. this means we are using google mail for our mail service. i am trying to setup pbxnsip to use smtp.gmail.com as an smtp server. messages are not beeing delivered. this is what my logs sais: [8] 20080810142627: SMTP: Received 250-mx.google.com at your service, [xx.xx.xx.xx] 250-SIZE 28311552 250-8BITMIME 250-STARTTLS 250 ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES [8] 20080810142627: SMTP: Received 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. c9sm7995749ana.9 [5] 20080810142627: SMTP Server returned 530 how can i configure pbxnsip to use secure authentication and port 587? thanx Quote
Vodia PBX Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Well, currently the PBX does not support TLS for email... Short term workaround is to use another SMTP email relay that uses plain SMTP on TCP. Maybe this is the opportunity to start doing this! Quote
