nathans
Hi, Tried the installer on for OS X found on https://vodia.com/documentation/install_mac and it gives an unsupported OS version. Choosing continue regardless and the install exits with a fail without installing anything. Please advise. Tanks Nathan
Vodia PBX
ACK. We have come up with a manual installation procedure. We can share that with you and it might also end up on the installation page.
zemixx
Hi, I'm also interested by a solution to install the latest version on OS X El Capitan. OS X auto-updated, it killed my PBX and the current installer doesn't work with El Capitan. Thanks a lot!
Vodia PBX
Our Mac mini seems to be getting too old... We have ordered a new one, should be arriving in a few days. Then we can build 5.4.0 for MacOS again, and we'll update the installation as well.
zemixx
Can't wait to hear from you! Thanks for your answer Bests, Kevin
Vodia PBX
Just a heads up we have made 5.4.0 for MacOS (just the image). Next up is a new installer for new Mac installations.
zemixx
Thanks for the update! Looking forward to install the new version!
Vodia PBX
The package is also ready, however we have some weird problems with the Image. :-( Always something.
zemixx
Hi, that's weird! Any chance to install it through the terminal or something else? Good luck!
Vodia PBX
The installer itself is fine; surprisingly easy ;-) It is the PBX image it self that has some weird behavior. We have had a couple of compiler warnings with the updated tool chain; fingers crossed that the new thread local storage is not causing any problems on MacOS... davidav
we have 5.4 running on OS X El Capitan but just realised that the audio files must not have been properly installed - callers hear no beep after the recorded message for voicemail. I looked in the pbx folder and can't see any audio files nor can I work out how to install from the admin console. How do we install the missing files? Vodia PBX
You can install them through the software update feature, see https://vodia.com/doc/lang_installation you probably need the "Music and Tones".
