is there a way that I can modify the layout of the small screen that loads?

Like all files served by the PBX web server, you can also redesign the file there (makecall.htm).

You might also want to check out https://doc.vodia.com/docs/click2dial where you can use the pbxcall element. This is very useful when you users have to log in (e.g. into a in-house CRM system) and you want to offer clickable numbers.

I was looking in the customize>templates section but I couldn't find the makecall.htm file, where could I find it?

Hmm seems like you need to add this yourself for now—just open the inspector in your browser and add it to the id="page". We'll include it in the next build.

I am just following up on this page, is there a way to edit makecall.htm file. I dont understand this response as this file is on the vodia server, but it is not a customizable template.

Am i missing something here.

You can customize the template page... Or just edit the page quickly in the browser inspector. Its a hack, but works and gets you what you need.

Please point me to the template page, there is no makecall.htm, is it listed under another name.

I am not sure on this hack, as you would already have to be connected to inspect the browser..i guess you can override the file on the vodia pbx, is that the "hack" that you are referring to?

Admittedly its really a hack, but you can actually change every web site as you wish. Try it with your bank login (okay, it affects only the front end ). The Vodia backend will be able to change the page if it is actually a page that does exist.
